45% of scots are brave and can make their own mind up
40% are scared ot too inyo the Monarchy to let Queenie go.
10% are too apatheitic to get out of bed.5% say “referendum WHAT referendum.?” AND WATCH YET ANOTHER RE RUN OF bRAVEHEART
I said this elsewhere.. but we should have a game of “guess the daily mails headlines” next week..They will have us linked to some jihadi paedophile ring..my first guess..erm .
“SCOTLAND TO BE NUKED BY NORTH kOREA IF THE VOTE YES..”So is the referendum not just a matter of a simple majority?
10 September, 2014 at 1:33 pm #523387I kinda agree with your last statement scep.
But I’ve always felt Scotland was important, while hating the injustice and brutality involved in bringing about and maintaining the Union. I think what you’re labelling as a previous lack of importance was actually no believable prospect that it would ever actually be lost.
As for failures of Social DEMOCRATIC ‘experiments’, they survive where there is a real consensus – most notably in Scandinavian countries.
Having said that, Since Thatcher’s election and especially Johnsons’ Mayorship and Cameron’s installation, I’ve been convinced that the future lies with the handbasket-weavers. This would be one more oar to take us down the Styx. If you pardon the mixture of mythologies.
29 August, 2014 at 10:13 am #523383I don’t think it’s time for countries to be splintering apart. The modern world is being run by big powerful blocs and size is going to matter.
There are a lot of things wrong with the way the UK was set up and is run, but I don’t think splitting up the people of these island is the best thing. We can share an economic and National future without losing ethnic identities.

i’ve had that message too when i had disconnected from the net……..tried again 15 mins later and i was back in
Did that, still didn’t get back in, but there was a dodgy looking bloke in a trilby hat and a tan-coloured Crombie coat beckoning me over to his corner of the internet.
I’m sure I could have looked after myself, but even now, my mum’s advice echoes in my head, and his shoes weren’t very shiny, so I went the other way and got myself a cup of tea.
