In my opinion you should stop being so politically correct and get yourself a life.
So the only possible reason for disapproving of UKIP and believing they are racist is political correctness?

I wonder if that’s the whole, or even real, story.
I was once taken aside by a woman who told me that her husband had been banned from a jazz club because of his political views – he was BNP supporter. However, the person who ran the club – a black woman – told me he’d been banned for sending her personally targeted, explicitly obscene…[Read more]

As far as hats go, I do believe that height and head size are an issue, My taller comrade carries off all sorts of hats: bowlers, trilbies, with the occasional pork pie or boater if he’s feeling rather jolly.
Being of more average height and having a rather large head size (recorded by my revered mother on one document as ‘ridiculously large’), I…[Read more]

Anyway, it’s about time we started discussing chaps’ things. In a quest for sartorial significance, a buddy and I have recently started sporting cravats. On occasions this has made some impact, especially when topped off with a suitable hat.
What’s your view on ties (bow or straight) and cravats?

Well hello there comrades, it’s wonderful to have a Chap’s Palace where chaps can be chaps.
Remember it’s Movember, and your top lip growth should be unfettered so that chaps can bring themselves to use the word ‘testicular’ in front of strangers. That includes you Panda.

“Political Correctness” as a term is another term that could do with some definition. Many claim to be able to say when it has ‘gone too far’, but few, if any, ever indicate where the line is that has been crossed.
