You posted a nice picture Pats. It was your personal choice to select a nice photograph and post it on the boards.

However what I tried to say is, that it appears that pictures are published without the agreement of the person in the picture. Now I know this happens in the media…lets publish pics of people on a bad day to humiliate them but ……..this is a chat room. :)

Personally I am quite a shy person, well some of the time…..I have my moments :lol: and I too go out regularly with friends, family and colleagues..sometimes on the p*iss. 8) Moments on a dance floor or karaoke (their ears will never be the same again) knowing that ‘big brother’ is not lurking around with the sole intention of taking a potentially unflattering picture of us after a few drinks to publish on the t’internet. :shock:

I thought that there was a difference between a)natural human curiousity… the need to know!!! and b) Publishing the details, information or picture without that persons knowledge then systematically posting thereafter to humiliate that individual.

I suppose you are right Pat when you said ‘I dunno what the fuss is all about’
As long as Fast only posts pics of those who have left JC and are unable to make comment, what fuss could possibly be made?

I think that is exactly my point….if you aren’t brave enough to go along in person then why should you have the power (or pictures) to try to humiliate people on the boards.

Well I had considered going to a meet at some point…it would have been nice to have met some people from JC. However it would appear that some small minded people appear to think they have the right to post photographs of those attending the meets. How they came across the photographs when they weren’t at the meets is something I don’t have a clue about.

Anyway I have decided not to attend any meet not because of the people who have the courage to go to the meets regardless but because of the silly eejits who appear to think it is alright to post peoples photographs without their knowledge. I believe these meets appear to elicit a kind of controlling or bullying tactical behaviour from some people.

Sad ain’t it. :(
