er ! lets think about this…
drugs + police = government spending
cannabis + police + easy pickings fines = government gain.not rocket science is it..
they are clueless. someone needs to explain to the muppits in government that people use cannabis. people will always use cannabis because its nice, its relaxing, it kills stress and it numbs pain. it costs less than a prescription and it works with no side effects.
its a natural product with no chemicals and its non addictive. [manufactured pain killers are chemical based and are all addictive]
but lets get to the real reason they have done this u turn on cannabis. they can now tax money from the thousands of teens who buy a smoke to escape the boredom and reality of a shi*e existance thay have been dealt. the government see this drug as an easy tax and an easy headline grabber. in reality they couldnt care less, as long as the fines cover the cost of collection. why arent they hammering the coke dealers ? aaah.. tell ya why, because that would entail going into pubs/clubs and actually grabbing the dealers in situ. the polioce wont do this, because it means they have to get their hands dirty. they dont like doing that, not without riot shields and dogs. almost every town and village across britain is blighted by coke addiction, my god even international rugby players are at it..
why arent gordon andf his crones kicking pub doors in and dragging the dealers off to jail ? itll never happen because the government and the police are cowards. fine the smokers who use sensibly and leave the evil kid catchers alone, thats a problem for the next tory government god forbid.

and ball bearings, and nuts and tacks. and anything else that can be crammed into a pipe bomb. in the name of peace of course. 8)

16 January, 2009 at 1:17 pm #388233you are bang on the nail there. if jesus [or whoever] were to land on earth now, and see what man [and man alone] have done to his guide to life he would be ashamed and disgusted. every religion [apart from the bhuddists and seikhs in the main] are at war with each other. biggotry and hatred of other religions is rife. religion is fear and hate. the whole lot of it should be erradicated.
16 January, 2009 at 1:08 pm #389234hes a muppit.
14 January, 2009 at 10:17 pm #388231thank you for your reply. although i did clearly state in the first sentence or so. that neither side is right. and both are equally wrong. i supose for me, at least. i can see no end to this murder and hate as long as religions have any say in politics. the irish situation was as ingrained as the jewish/muslim thing. there are still many sectarian and orange enclaves across n.i i have many relatives there and here in england. i was brought up on the pros and cons of both sides as my grandparents were from either side of the park. my grandfathers family refused to ever see him again. and my grandmother was threatened with tar and feathering. a very nice sort of skin dermabrasion, only done tied to a lamp post. a similar sort of treatment that muslim women get in iran for flashing their ankles like the harlots they are. 50 lashes will make a girls bum smart. all religious biggotry is designed to keep us at odds with each other. how do you think the priests, mullahs, clerics and popes types keep their job ? they are the sargeants at arms. ive no solution to the situation. many have tried, and many have died trying to bring sides together for eternity. the only solution is for the irradication of every church mosque and temple of any kind. and that will never happen.

I’m sure that most of you have heard of identity theft and the dangers that it can pose to your financial health – but how aware are you REALLY of the ways in which your confidential information can leak out???
I pose this question because today I’ve just opened a letter from a credit card provider offering me a balance transfer service of only 7.92% plus a 3% handling fee.
OK leaving aside the ridiculous interest rate (loads are offering 0%) what caught my eye was the letter itself. At the top it referred to “Credit Card Ending **** (and gave the last 4 numbers of my credit card.
OK no big deal you may think. No real security issue there … only the last 4 digits …. not much use to a fraudster.
HOWEVER, on the ‘Balance Transfer Request’ form at the bottom, it listed my full name, my full address and believe it or not the full and complete credit card number – all 16 digits of it.
If I had simply torn this in half or crumpled it up and tossed it in the bin – as you do – I’m giving away invaluable information to any fraudster that wants to misuse my credit card. All they need to do is grab the paper litter from my house (we conveniently separate it now) and they have all they need.
So how many of you would have done the same and simply thrown this type of circular away without thought – instead of shredding it first?????
Do you even own or use a shredder???
BTW – It’s now shredded and unreadable.
thanks for the advise forum chappie. i doff me flat cap your way. my sons housemate has had his i.d stolen. aparrently t has been traced to a garage in birmingham ! [from west yorks] he has bought over 300 quids worth of tat on line in the time it took him to realise and stop his cards etc. he found out the morning after a night out and stopped everything.if he hadnt have been going back to base in the morning he would have still been in bed till lunch. hes a soldier. you cant believe how much trouble he is in right now.id theft can be deadly as well as costly.
