It doesnt matter which party is in power, modern politics isnt about results, its about psychology and misdirection
The sick, the elderly, the young, the unemployed, the mentally ill. single mums, 4×4 drivers, smokers, drinkers, drivers, racists, immigrants, men, fathers, the french, the EU, terrorists etc etc are just some of the lists to blame for all of societies woes to distract the mindless majority away from realising the real reason the place is such a cesspit is the governments endless wastage of money
UK politics has been americanised over the last few decades, politicians now keep redirecting disdain towards a group who arent a significant amount of votes to lose and paint them blacker than black, then a few months later all the countries woes become the fault of another group on the list and so on whilst the bulk of the non thinking non questioning populace criticise who they are told to dislike and welcome with glee any policy that “sticks it to the scum” as long as that months scum isnt a group theyre part of
But a government cant really be blamed for doing that, infact they would be stupid not to when its obvious they can. The blame unfortunately rests with the apathy of the majority for sitting idly by and letting them do it

I didnt say the “remark” wasnt racist (although strictly speaking it isnt as slovakians are of the same race, and “go home” isnt a racist comment unless directed at someone of a DIFFERENT race)
I said the incident wasnt linked to immigration, but immigration was the main gist of the padding, which was ONLY because the woman was slovakian, its THAT which is racist as it doesnt even say the woman IS an immigrant
All of which was clearly stated with no mention to what was said

Course not, the article and thread would more probably have been centred around the beating, the kid being cheeky and the wrongness of both things
This one however mostly avoids both of those things, almost having the undertone that the kid did nothing wrong and focusing almost totally on the topic of immigration which doesnt specifically relate to this incident at all as far as can be known as it doesnt even say the woman IS an immigrant does it

The fact the woman is or might be an immigrant, the current crappy state of our immigration proceedures and most of the other nonsense soapboxed on the coat tails of this story isnt relevant to the crime or the circumstances of it
Assault on or by someone isnt less or more simply because of their nationality and niether is the significance of the boys nationality as to whether he should be insulting people and throwing things
Unless of course youre going to claim that its ok for white british kids to insult anyone non british and that its worse if a non british person beats the crap out of a gobby kid than if a white person did it
If youre NOT going to try and claim either of those things then the nationality becomes irrelevant and only the actual occurence is important irrespective of nationality as the actual occurences are important whereas the state of immigration policy on a national level or even a community one ISNT relevant to this individual incident which is the point I have been making
As national and community immigration makes up probably 90% of the article with the incident itself making up a rather measly amount of it

If you check back and read that excert in context I was referring to the droves of droning about immigration rather than whether what he said was racist

Workers with families in tow take more out of an economic system than they will EVER pay in, so theyre not REALLY “cheap” labour at all as that extra tax has to come from somewhere

More people being out of work means more taxes are needed
Also there are non influenced products that HAVE to be bought, cheap labour doesnt reduce the cost of electricity, gas, water or petrol
Cheap polish labour within the transport system hasnt decreased fairs or increased services, its simply increased profits for the companies
Any “savings” cheap fruit and veg MIGHT resemble, when it also causes a need for more tax to publicly fund that “cheap” labour means that less flexible costs HAVE to go up as a result, taxation HAS to go up and the ancilliary governmental costs associated with collecting that extra cost goes up which invariably takes more income from people than the pennies the cheaper food saves them so systematically people end up worse and worse off
Thats why although many things now are proportionally cheaper than they were 10 years ago people have far less actual cash left after they have paid their bills each month, so rather than some economical benefit to the populace its an ever descending financial downward spiral and only the companies profits are benefitting positively from it
Taking a single thing out of a “system” like an economic system and claiming its “good” is like taking a single non cancerous cell out of a patient riddled with cancer and claiming it “proves” they dont have cancer
