What a load of tosh. I think you’ll find King David very much pre-dates Islamo-nazism that the Arab warlords adopted. Islam was only invented in the 6th century, Israel existed a thousand years and more long before there were any Islamo-nazis in that region. Show me one piece of historical scroll dating from circa 5 BC to circa 10 AD that mentions anything about there being a Palestine or Muslims in Israel! Heck, Egypt was still worshipping Ra and Osiris so don’t tell me the Islamic state of Palestine existed when the cult wasn’t even formed until the 6th century, a propaganda tool put together by the warlords of the region to combine forces and ‘dominate’ (colonise) the area.

Israel is our ally, and the ONLY Democratic nation within that region, the ONLY civilised nation, the ONLY nation with a fair trial by jury system and where its government is concerned of its citizens welfare, unlike the evil terrorist nations it just happens to be surrounded by that want nothing but bloodshed, genocide and all-out war.

Israel is a peaceful, Democratic nation that just wants to be left alone. Israel has not once, ever, been the aggressor.

Nah in all seriousness I am taking a look at my life harder now. I really need to do something with it instead of wasting it away being aimlessly angry at the world all the time and deliberately sabotaging myself. I’m trying to straighten myself out and entering my third decade with a bit of dignity instead of clinging onto my youth and trying to recapture ‘the good times’. I volunteer at my local community center now, I’ve vowed never to return to the far-right, even got a statement ready denouncing the far-right for the 1st August press conference about the launch of the FYP. If I’m gonna be involved with the FYP I thought honesty maybe the best policy, rather than having stuff dug up by reds. The FYP is something close to my heart, campaigning for a Yorkshire assembly, protecting our countryside, attacking high taxation on ‘middle classed’ businesses so we’ll get the middle classed businessmen of Yorkshire on our side, who will provide the funding for our campaign. Basically, just fighting for more local Democracy and a fairer economy for the people of Yorkshire, who are constantly oppressed and over-taxed by Parliament and are never given a say on whether we want houses built on our beautiful countryside!

I think the filters are fine as they are, it’s not very nice for any new people signing up to see words that may offend them. I do see the hypocrisy, though, that the boards are supposed to remain somewhat ‘friendly’ (as friendly as it can get with you lot anyway :lol: ) and ‘clean’ – yet the chat rooms, which used to adhere to the same code of conduct, now allow pervy names, even pervier PMs any new female user will login to find harassing to her and full on public “cyber sex” and abuse galore. I know the admins have a lot on these days and don’t really have the time to look after the site like they used to but it would be nice to see some consistency. Either bring chat in-line with the boards, or, as the topic poster suggested, bring the boards in-line with chat by removing the filter and any decorum.

I was really surprised when this story came out, I’m actually surprised nothing has happened to him, materialism for the “ordinary” classes in China is really frowned upon morally, especially going so far as to selling a part of you just so you can buy material goods that you don’t need – it’s what you’d expect of a greedy, immoral Capitalist (in their eyes).

But I do remember watching a Dispatches programme a few years ago where undercover reporters went to China to investigate their economy and how people trade and do business etc – and it did say they’re becoming increasingly Capitalist. So perhaps it’s just the younger generation of the Chinese rejecting Communism.

Gadaffi used to fund the IRA. That’s good enough reason for me to support a war against Libya.

I find it interesting how we’ve chosen to fight this war though, not with our own soldiers, but with Libyan ‘rebels’ (and I dare say a few covert mercernaries thrown in for good measure) simply providing them with air and naval bombardment support.

We are way too over-stretched to mount a full scale war, but just by bombing and shelling the crap out of them and slipping the rebels some supplies, we are effectively at war, and will win, without British loss of life.

I say this is a good thing, plus it emphasises the importance of a strong navy and airforce hence Cameron’s u-turn on scrapping our entire navy! Mr. “We don’t need a navy in the modern age” – then a month later it kicks off in Libya. Ohh I bet he felt a right tit.
