I don’t put anyone on ignore unless they truly deserve it, and to be honest the quality of trolls around these days is pitiful. They can’t even bloody insult you properly these days so they’re hardly offensive, they don’t have the wit or the brains to be offensive any more, just the usual generic over-used boring mono-tone lines with absolutely no timing or imp-actual delivery.
My theory is that years ago the post of ‘the troll’ attracted intelligent, witty people with a damn good sense of humour who wanted to be a little creative and pass some time, they took chat rooms very light-heartedly.
Today it seems only dim-witted uneducated gormless twits who spend their life on the Internet want to be a troll.
I guess that’s why you don’t get any good trolls now, hardly fun competition when everyone else in the chat room has an IQ level akin to a slug.
..And those of us who were good (Anc ;) are just too old now and had our fun.
Some trolls would disagree with me of course, but that just proves how un-educated and dim-witted they are if they think they’re good LOL.

We all like to think that we’d be noble and put the needs of many before our own life but when it comes to the crunch…
Whilst I am still capable of living a reasonably full life and can spend it with people that I love, I would be happy to give as much blood as I could without putting my own life in danger, but not to give my life for an experiment for which the results are not guaranteed. Once I had had enough of living, say once everyone I loved was gone and I’d done everything I wanted in life, then I’d like to think that yes, I would give my life.
The next dilemma would be when someone you loved had cancer, but I think in all honesty there is only one that I would give my life for so that they could live and I suspect that they wouldn’t want that.
Wow, good post! That’s a true point. If it’s someone who loves you that is dying of cancer… what would be the point in surviving if you had to spend the rest of your life miserable and guilty?
In that situation I’d probably prefer to spend a few months with the one I love as opposed to 30 or 40 years without them.

Should I mention the fact that you’ve used an apostrophe in the title of this thread?
Should I mention you need to get a life?
Huh.. having an education = not having a life?
Strange.. all those successful and rich businessmen who had an education are happy and well provided for and lead a good life, and then the uneducated who live in council houses and work minimum wage jobs.. hmmm

i agree with you pp1
holding a quiz is tough work
as i know by bitter experience
all you get,is ridicule, abuse, ppl talking over you
i.e”oh ive just had my hair done”
ppl saying i was first
ppl saying thats not fair
ppl saying no,no,thats wrong etc
if you dont want to play, get off the pitch and just watch
or better still you try it eh?It’s not tough work at all.
Ask the questions. Say well done to the ones who answer correctly. Ban anyone disrupting the quiz as there’s no point in them being there if they don’t want to play.
Easy peasy? Well that’s what someone with a bit of common sense would do anyway.

A place to share your thoughts, poems, stories etc for those we have loved and lost…………this is one i saw on fb
Dear Santa,
I’m writing you this letter as I’m feeling a little blue, so I hope you don’t think I am asking too much of you. You visit every year and leave everyone such wonderful things, but I’m wondering if you also visit our loved ones who have wings? … I know you must be busy, so much to do in just one night, but could you please make an extra trip to the stars that shine so bright? You see …………we all have special loved ones -too perfect for life on earth, no presents could we send them to truly show their worth. So could you please leave them all a gift and put a stocking on their cloud, filled full of precious presents from their loved ones on the ground. Please stroke their sleepy heads, tell them their families love them so, that their hearts ache with sadness and their tears just seem to flow. If you could do this for me santa, their families might be able to smile, even if it is just for a tiny, little while. So thank you very much Santa for everything you do, after all it is Christmas, up in heaven too xI don’t get it.. you want to show your missed loved ones how special they are to you by making them sad & cry?
Interesting tactic.. telling them I miss them then make an effort to go spend some time with them has always worked for me though :)

You’re thinking of Bees I think, as it’s bees that pollenate the Earth, and without pollenation = no oxygen.
Easy mistake I guess. Pollenating the earth & creating oxygen………………..landing on people’s dinner plates to take a big shit. Similar I guess.

If I really needed to know the answer I’d go to the public library and come away again without finding the answer.
Well considering you only use the public library for dirty sex or as a large urinal that’s not surprising !!
