i repeat
i have been involved in several of the wild cat strikes and the main issue is this , we have fought for years to get where we are today on blue book sites across britian , we have secured decent pay and conditions , these ppl are comin and breakin the conditions we have agreed , ie workin for less money , even workin through break times, the list is endless , do u think these ppl are being shipped over and provided with occomodation because they are better at thier jobs than us ??? no ! its down to cheap labour , we didnt strike because we wanted preferential treatment ie , jobs to go to british , we was actually being froze out , told british workers neednt apply , we want equality ie , make the migrant workers follow the deals we fought for , pay them the same money etc, do u think employers would be as fast to ship them over then?? this is far from over , it will occur again and again , and will spread into all industries if it isnt stopped , maybe then ppl will see whats happening under thier noses, do you really want to return to the bad days of worker exploitation
people obviousely arent readin all the posts , cas ive been on strike several times this year over brits being frozen out for jobs on there doorsteps ” british workers need not apply ” and thats a quote
and as u can see melody i always use the word migrants not poles
pete read my posts as ive sed we want migrants to be equal , we want them to have the same conditions and make the same money as we do , and as ive also said its british that are being frozen out not migrants , all very quick to make comments about them just wantin a better life etc , well so do we , its us thats being descriminated against not them
firstly fair point cas i agree , 2nd its not resenting poles its resentment of the fact they are bein exploited and 3 rd as ive said its all about equality , british workers neednt apply was the first issue just after xmas and give them the same pay and conditions as what we get not half, and pete i really dnt think they would stand for it in other countries , bringing kids up next to nuclear sites and the jobs there going to migrants whos kids are back home , exhaust local labour first, i still think until it hits ur own industries as it has mine ull fail to agree , oh and can i just add , it hasnt happened where i work yet , but we have still walked out in sympathy for brothers in lyndsay etc

we have fought for and agreed terms and conditions and pay deals , why shud that be undermined now ?, the issue is equality , everyone workin on a site with deals already in place shud follow this .our lates pay offer for next 3 yrs , first year 0 % 2nd year o.5 % 3rd year 0.5 % which is in effect a pay cut in keepin up with inflation , we could fight it and probably will , but whats the point , the migrants will fill our shoes and work for half the pay , so yes this is good for the economy , as firms and share holders prosper , we suffer as wages will drop and the migrants continue to be exploited

melody the airport where u worked , how would yous of felt if all british workers where made redundant to make way for migrant cheap labour workers , its a case of im alright jack because its mainly the con struction industry thats being hit , as i have sed in previous posts this will affect us all in the future when all emplyers take on cheap migrant workers , already happening on large scalesunderland arent in the championship , bladdy daughter a sunderland fan , went to last 2 games , ( where did i go wrong )
