And then get it rejected a hundred times or more, before it’s finally excepted and published! Writers have it hard.

LONDON: A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife over a posting she made on the social networking site Facebook.

Wayne Forrester, 34, was very upset to find that his wife Emma, 34, had changed her online profile to “single”, just days after he had moved out, said police.

He drove her home in Croydon, south London, and stabbed her with a kitchen knife and a meat cleaver on 18 February, revealed the sources.

Forrester, who pleaded guilty to murder, was ordered to serve a minimum term of 14 years.

“You committed a terrible act. There is no possible excuse or justification. This is a tragic killing and what you have done has caused untold anguish,” the BBC quoted Judge Brian Barker, the Common Serjeant of London, as telling him.

Forrester, an HGV driver, was drunk and high on cocaine when he attacked his wife in the early hours as she slept. He beat her, tore out clumps of her hair, and repeatedly stabbed her in the head and neck.

The screams of the mother of two awoke neighbours, who called the police after finding Forrester sitting outside the house covered in blood.

The court heard Forrester thought that Emma was having an affair, and had threatened to kill her.

The couple’s 15-year marriage was said to be a “volatile” one.

This is exactly why people should be careful what they write on facebook, and other internet sites. I hope the man rots in jail for what he does, adultery is no excuse to commit murder. I feel sorry for the children too, can’t imagine how terrible they must feel.
