As your brain is rational negating the necessity of a “god” , what evidence or logic have you behind believing in ghosts?
Because both me and my daughter have independently seen the same ghost, without me telling her anything about my experience.
Interesting , can you elaborate on your experience? As ghosts would signify some kind of spirituality and afterlife, why do you not then believe in God ? A ghost whilst not evidence of a creator points at least to life after death.
Merlin and Dofan are fairly sound individuals IMO
Although this probably seems strange to many people, I actually believe in ghosts.

As you and Dr Drac, to use her formal title, are so angry about this issue, perhaps you should lobby your local MP to change the current law. If you don’t know how to lobby an MP I will happily explain to you both.

I cant be arsed playing Dr Drac, Ph.D, question game but I will respond to this one applying your kind of logic.. You placed all Muslims, Ramadan and fasting in the same risk box as pedophilia. All pedophiles without exception, are potentially a risk to children. All Muslims fasting during Ramadan don’t operate heavy plant and dangerous machinery and even then only a tiny minority are qualified to do so. Get it?

Can you explain please Dr Drac, Ph.D. How did you reach the conclusion that Muslims fasting during Ramadan is on a par with pedophiles working in a school?
The logic in both cases is identical, the person believes themselves to be safe in a situation. Most other people think that it is not safe for them to be in that situation. If you look at the replies to this thread, you will see that a large majority of respondents agree that operating a crane while dehydrated or otherwise impared is not safe.
The logic is not the same at all and you have no evidence Dr Drac, Ph.D, to suggest otherwise. You have no evidence at all that Muslims are deliberately flouting the law in relation to operating heavy plant and dangerous machinery during Ramadan and fasting. As other religions fast and to place it on a par with pedophilia pretty much sums you up on this subject. Current Employment Law and Health and Safety regulation states a full risk assessment should be carried out in relation to the operation of dangerous plant and machinery if employees are fasting during Ramadan. The onus is on the employer to ensure this is carried out. If individuals are not adhering to this then they are in breach of the law. The law is quite specific about this issue.
Why do you keep on quoting laws to try to defend a stance of common sense ? Are you saying it is safe for someone weak with lack of food/drink to be handling dangerous equipment- a simple yes or no will suffice.
