Martin seems like a fair guy, but the site is in danger of becoming a sterile environment where the only topics involves favourite colours/weather, as alluded to on the other thread. The site is fine as it is, we all have to sign a disclaimer to be over 18 and as adults self moderation normally kicks in. Obviously there are arguments as there are in real life, but adding more chat guides would be a mistake resulting in more leaving than joining. Although regs get in arguments, most of the spam comes from guests so the answer is for people to join the members only room which could perhaps be more heavily moderated for more sensitive types and leave the rest of us to it in other rooms within reason. For every ” that chatter is a troll ” comment , there will be ” he/she is ok etc etc ” so it’s all subjective.. even chatters I dislike such as stapler etc I wouldn’t ban. Diversity is what makes any site and people like Roger/ face being banned is truly bizarre- there will be nobody left to type other than the ” hi how are you brigade “
Troll feeding is as bad as being the troll itself. Trolls can only troll if they are fed. The only way to get rid of trolls is by not responding and ignoring them.
Yet here you are with another thread copying and pasting rubbish , you need a partner or a good wash
What should be banned are freaks like you clogging boards up with inane chat logs like some sanctimonious school teacher. You have posted loads of logs on message boards littered with profanity for anyone to read yet claim to be some virtuous chatter when in reality you simply contribute to it yourself. Up on Sunday morning posting logs on message boards when people come to discuss travel , politics and this is your contribution… what a sad life you lead.
If this is the case , I’m out as well.. why would anyone use a chatsite when they can be banned at a whim from someone they don’t get on with? At least it will free up time to do other things so Martin may as well make morg and blossom chat guides completing the link of horror so we can all fck off elsewhere without big brother watching us 24/7.
Most use JC as a form of escapism, not adhering to personal preferences of someone as a guide with too much time on their hands banning/censoring people… not the kind of environment I’m interested in I’m afraid. Loads of regs have been banned on here , some unfairly and if this is the road we are going down then time to call it a day.

It’s not a question of whether there should be an election or another referendum, though we all have our views on that. I’m raising the question of whether there is likely to be an election or another referendum. The answer is not likely about a referendum, but much more likely the collapse of this government and another election.
What will another election achieve other than a likely hung parliament/ slim labour majority ? How is that conducive to being better than what we have now and more united unless you are a labour supporter bitter about leaving the EU? Do you honestly believe another election is likely to give a more decisive majority to either party and even if it does what good will that be exactly dealing with the EU? People say it’s a stronger position to be in without actually giving details- just generic spin with no substance.
Norfolk, this is not about scares, or even pointing to the problems which are now emerging.. It’s about the lack of a clear majority in the country for the way forward, when time is forcing us to have a clear majority. I don’t think that parliament, the cabinet or the country will be able to get a deal. If there’s no deal, that will probably be stopped too. We could well end up like Norway in the EEA. I agreed with Gerry’s view that we may not even exit, given the political circumstances. But that’s still up in the air. May’s failure at the election has thrown brexit up in the air, and where it all falls is still to be seen.
Why is time forcing us to have a clear majority? How will EU negotiations be affected having a majority government or not? Do you really think EU leaders who generally regard us with contempt anyway are suddenly going to say ” Well I had respect for the UK 2 years ago but now she has a reduced majority we have none” It’s just spin peddled out that makes no real sense… let’s get it right, the reason the election was called had nothing to do with EU negotiations despite that being given as the official reason but a poll conducted showing Labour in complete disarray with Corbyn being mocked by his own party. May thought she could make a killing and failed miserably.
All this scaremongering about what will happen when/if we leave EU is simply postulating on assumed information that bares no resemblance to reality and peddled out like the polls we saw on predicting Trump would lose the election. The reality is since article 50 was triggered, none of these doomsday scenarios regarding the economy have looked like materialising, so suggesting leaving the EU will be a disaster with no deal has no substance in actual fact. For every pro EU statement, there is one to the contrary benefitting the country with people adjusting the “facts” to suit their own agenda.
I don’t see the logic of rerunning any election, any result will be split even if Corbyn somehow wins, so where is the sense of having a weak government led by labour compared to the current weak one led by the tories? It seems to me a case of sour grapes, the losers simply keep wanting to repeat the same votes/ elections till they get a result they want.
The tories are the largest party in an election campaign that backfired, we’re leaving the EU after the general public have voted… move on. I’ve started taking less interest in politics after the media coverage spends more time talking about Mays cough or transgressions from MPs regarding sexual language than actual policies affecting the common man in the street. They all lie through their back teeth anyway so why get so worked up about a web of deceit as corrupt from one party to the next.
Portraying ” little lady” as some wronged, poor, vulnerable female really takes some doing.. a ” lady” who continually overflows her chat monologue with written expletives normally revolving around begging regulars for sex or accusing them of paedophilia/ rape when they refuse her unwelcome advances.
That said, there are some desperate lonely people online who may wish to have a foul mouthed “lady” resembling fatima whitbread sporting more facial stubble than rasputin in their bed, but lets not pretend she is an online victim.
