and for the love of god, screen names are there to be used, real names are being posted everywhere and its pìssing me off, noone cares who knows who so why ppl put other names up just confusses me – do they want to show off who they know or are they that petty they think its a one up on them for “outing” others.

For me it was always about having a bit of fun when there was nothing else to do and to that end, it could sometimes be useful, maybe even worthwhile. Funnily enough, this analysis is bolstered by the appearance of Nemesis in this thread, herself a perfect example of a deceptive liar. A slag of 40, married with child, sexually promiscuous, and absolutely unscrupulous in her chatroom behavior.
I still think exposing liars is an ok thing, though granted, probably pointless.
