this morning my icon that is usually red, was black i checked and it said my firewall was disabled, i went into my security as far as it would let me.
that said my firewall was enabled.
Because of the contradicting messages i just tried the test firewall option that was a choice in the popup info after clicking on the icon
I dont know if this makes any difference but my security is McAfee, and the message about my IP address was from hackerwatch.org
