Y’know, i’ve been mulling over what fastcars said (above) …. and he has a really good point.

In general women have smaller hands than men, which makes them biologically more suited to carrying out the more simple domestic tasks, like washing, ironing, cleaning & cooking …. not to mention changing the nappies on babies.

Men on the other hand (no pun intended) are better equipped as hunter/gatherers and therefore are less suited biologically to carrying out simple domestic chores.

Let’s face it, show the average woman a harmless mouse and they squeal and leap on top of a chair to escape it. Not exactly ideal characteristics for bringing home the meat eh?

However, show a man an ironing board and a pile of washing and he buggers off down to the pub. Perfect characteristics for a bit of social networking leading to the discovery of fresh meat to bring home.

Proof if ever it was needed that women should know their place and not try to emulate the male role in society.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to disagree with you on your last point PB.
We are constantly having it drummed into us about how the female of the species is the stronger of the two sexes but when they are put into a position of having to earn a decent income to be able to support the family then they fail miserably.
They bleat on about not needing us males and how they could function perfectly without us, but truth be known their main function in life is to clean up after, and feed, the head of the family.
Send them out to work I say…. let us stay at home and take care of the housework. I mean… we can all nip quickly round the house with a hoover…. chuck some clothes in the washing machine…. sit in JC all day chatting and posting on message boards and then pop a ready meal in the microwave for when the wife gets home and claim what a busy day we have had and how we have been rushed off our feet…….. cant we.

I can only surmise that you’ve written such a Neanderthal statement to try to prove yourself somewhat masculine…… :!: :?:  Lion’s are ‘Kings of the jungle’ who sit on their ar ses all day whilst the females go off and hunt…you dear are a man ( for want of a better word ) who obviously has recently been crushed through the loss of a good woman, (who it appears has seen the light i hasten to add) The majority of men heave at the sight of a soiled nappy, a washing machine to them is a galactic gateway that their wife or mother uses to magically clean their dirty grundies in..as for a cooker   you show me 10 men who can cook seven days a week, wash up, AND keep a spotless house and I’ll show you that they’re probably gay

I work, I keep house, cook, clean, wash, iron, I get my girls to help me.. I’m not a feminist as I personally regard them as jumped up lesbians or man haters… but I am not afraid to lay carpet, decorate or do minimal maintainance on my car !! ( although i hate glossing   )…Why do I do these things ?? Because I believe its NOT a man’s role to take care of me …Don’t get me wrong..like most women I would love to meet someone who wanted to take care of me just a little bit.. but by taking care I certainly don’t mean taking OVER !!! I’m happy to be part of a ‘team’, which is what I believe a relationship to be, a union where you both grow and improve each others lives as well as your own…….. sadly I’ve yet to meet him..but maybe one day !!!! :? :?
