just been checking n it says my video controller driver is uninstalled but cant find the driver at all (obviously) when i try the reinstall (if that makes sense) :? :?
Yeah i know Kentlass, im betting your running the navidia cards too.
Your graphics card should be listed under display adapters but because you said you dont have anything saying display adapters it means your driver for your graphics card is not instaled on your system. Damn.
I’ll help you sought this, it may take some time though, so be patient.
First of all it would be a massive help if you can find out what kind of graphics card you have instaled on your system and even better what model it is. I understand your a bit computer illiterate but i’m going to find a prog that will find out exactly what graphics card you have in your box.
Are you 100% positive you have no disk containing your hardware drivers?

oooooh bugger!!!
dare i whinge now that it wont playn comes up with ‘the TV Out port of your display card is not working properly’
soz to be so much trouble
will do with the nero thing too thanx!
Oh dear.
Please tell me you have instaled the driver for your display card.
Am i correct in assuming you have formatted and instaled XP recently? Do you have a disk which contains all drivers for your hardware instaled on your comp?.
Go start>control panel>double click on the system icon, when the system properties screen appears click on the hardware tab and then click on the device manager button.
Scroll down and expand+ on display adapters and double click on all enteries under display adapters. Now tell me what each one says under ‘device status’.
19 May, 2005 at 8:40 pm #111369I’m assuming you’ve also lost your CD/DVD Burning software too.
Download Nero 6 Ultra Edition (package one) here http://ww2.nero.com/enu/neroue-prog.php.
Post a message when you have downloaded and instaled Nero and i will send you the license key to unlock Nero 6 Ultra Edition.
19 May, 2005 at 8:01 pm #111367Go to this addy and click on the red download button and fill in the form that appears, when you have completed the form click on the button that says ‘download now’ at the very bottom of the screen.

19 May, 2005 at 7:56 pm #111365The download is working fine for me!, just make sure you fill the form in with false info and click the download now button. make sure you select the correct country though you dont want it in a foreign language!!!!.
