Hey Morty tell me how much RAM this prog free up in the end? 100+mb of RAM? And do you have lower CPU consumption?

Oh and disable error reporting for Microsoft products IE, Office, Messenger and XP. These can chew Memory, and who sends the error reports anyway??? Disable IE from checking for Updates, Enable boot defrag, disable search network for sceduled tasks, disable search network for shared resources and enable used shares. All these are good little tweaks for squeezing more RAM.

Maybe a 1024 conversion is the only answer to your probs this is a must anyway if you want to run Microsoft Longhorn when it’s released, A 64 bit OS is gonna hammer your system. But im jumping the gun here.

Download the free trial of tune up utilities 2004 and under ‘tuneup system control’ you’ll find it somewere in there, all changes are reversible. disable Memory paging too. If you want this prog unlocked, PM me. And make sure you have Memory defragmentation enabled.

Well considering XP’s a 32 bit OS it takes 256 mb of RAM to run it properly thats were a majority of RAM goes as for trying to free up RAM and CPU your going to need to edit your start up registry keys. Try starting with uneeded progs i.e msn running in the background, but id need to see your Process list and run registry keys to advise you. Do you use alot of background scanners? Also if you disable memory paging this can help speed things up but not always (more often than not it does). Do you have an Intel chipset? Try enabling UDMA66 transfer this can speed things up to.

WTF????, What are you doing giving ppl your Outlook addy for? durrr! Use Hotmail ffs.

Well done, you just been infected by one seriously annoying Virus. This Virus copies itself into the Windoze directory placing Win32dll.vbs and LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs, and even worse if it’s variant one, say goodbye to jpegs, mp3’s, mp2’s it will also HideSharePwds, DisablePwdCaching, alter your registry and loads of other annoying stuff.

Never ever under no circumstances give out your Outlook addy. Your just asking for it and it’s kinda Dumb.

    BTW Good luck.

It was sent in my hotmail account Duh…

Tis ok…ran spybot and it seems to have cleansed my system and everything is working perfectly…

    Well fingers crossed.

You said you were infected and had cleansed your system

Morty Hotmail blocks the malicious content and deletes it. It does’nt even give you the ‘we warned you are you still willing to download’ Option because it is blocked before it even gets to the Servers.
