Cyclists should wear protective clothing, not Crisp Packets. I had a lot of respect for Cyclists a few years back, seeing them ride along the streets, helping society by being ‘Friendly and Help keeping Emissions down’.

But, now, they annoy me.

My friend, recently had a crash, which the Cyclist was to blame for.

He was travelling along behind a car, perfectly safe over-taking chance on ‘Wide’ Country lane. In the distance, he saw a light, which in fairness, looked far away. He proceeeded to overtake, and low and behold, it was a Cyclists little light, which wasn’t far away at all, ‘he assumed it to be a motorbike in the distance.’
The Cyclist dodged and came out with a few bumps and bruises, and my friend? A written off car, to avoid hitting the Cyclist and insurance premiums that have risen like mad.

The same goes for Motorcyclists, will cut you up at any chance. Waiting in a traffic queue, a Motorbike will come along, and try and squeeze in, in most cases, sratching your car in the attempt to get by, in standstill traffic. These should definately be banned, or atleast pay a Higher Tax and contribution rather than safer cars.

How many people die on bikes a year? And I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets pestered by 10 year olds, on Mopeds Pulling Wheelies outside your house at night.

Another thing, there are so many protective clothing suits in shops for Motorcycles, along with Leather jackets and padding etc. So, Why do they feel the need to dress up as Power Rangers? :?
