The name of the characters from CHiPs were (get this lol) Officer Francis Llewellyn ‘Ponch’ Poncherello played by Erik Estrada and (the rather less colourful) Officer Jon Baker played by Larry Wilcox! :)
Although this clip starts in the 1960s, it takes us through the decades to the present day… a rather brilliant mix of every incarnation of Doctor Who through his iconic title tune!
