Well thank you all so much for that overwhelming welcome, I knew of course that there were some pretty awful forums on the web and you do have to look around to find a good one…….this rates as one of the unfriendliest, caustic, saddest, most unpleasent ones I ever heard of…..perhaps that explains why there arent so many active members apart from the half witted, moronic little a##holes that have just replied to my post….

Hi Forumhost, thanks for your help, I checked out the tutorial but it only mentions ‘ dial up connections ‘, mine is broadband……I’m not sure if the same procedure would apply in my case would it?
I’ll go back to Avast site and check if theres anything about broadband connection probs too.
