Being told one of my wounds has healed when it hasn’t….unfortunately found out a horrible way

Though I admit your very well mannered and offered to pay for our two lunch meetings (the third I brought the picnic and you brought your doggie who was more loveable than you) !
However, as ordinary and personable as you are, your quite obnoxious and completely nasty behind a keyboard. What grown man behaves like that? I use the word man loosely!

I really can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. How’s everyone doing with the plans for the day? I’m well organised this year most gifts bought some even wrapped !! We’re going continental this year & having our main Christmas Dinner on Christmas eve night with friends. Leaving the day for chilling out & actually enjoying instead of slaving in the kitchen. Happy days :-D
This year…… it’s all going to be very different! No stress as I’m going to be super organised!
I’m going to buy far fewer presents as I simply hate wrapping them (I’ve got a congenital defect when it comes to folding anything)!
I’m going to be the first to send Christmas cards too, you just watch me !
I’ll spend the same amount of money but will take longer choosing what to buy instead of thinking about quantity over quality.
Naturally I will have supreme control over cooking the Christmas dinner and when I have to watch my granddaughters other Nana squeeze Tomato ketchup on her turkey I’ll bite my tongue and remember I don’t have to see her for at least another year!

Yeh and the “lie” post? Is Martin being oversensitive now when it comes to board posts ? If he is shame he wasn’t as active years ago when there really was abuse here….posts were never removed…..if they were policed more then we probably would still have loads of posters left Hi defendant btw…welcome to the boards…happy posting
No Kenty I dont think Martin is being oversensitive. We all tend to get a bit carried away & go off topic get gobby etc. He’s one man doing his best whilst trying to live a normal life somewhere with the same commitments you & I have without all this cr@p to deal with! Loads of posters still left ??? Martin dealt with it back then! There hasn’t been loads of posters on these boards since the great cull in the year dot. Perhaps if you want the boards of yester year then the other place is better suit to you? It’s not for me & I choose to stay here. There has been the same handful of board users here that come & go as their life allows. I would say most go because they dont need the diversion JC provides from reality. I might be wrong.
How right you are Arc en, Martin isn’t being oversensitive, he’s being active! All this harping on about past posts is counterproductive and serves no purpose. Frankly those who harp on about it are those who should move onto somewhere else as it’s obvious they have no place here. They won’t, whinging is what they do !
All this myth about the ‘Great Cull’ is so far from the truth it’s not real. I would challenge anyone to ask those they think who were banned from the boards and I’m quite sure they would tell the truth. It was a very small number but their followers chose to leave JC and move onto other places. Those said people have always been welcome to come back and chat in the rooms and have never been made to feel they aren’t welcome.
There will always be attention seekers who bleat on about the past yet choose to stay and post, so be it !

It pissed me off that I walked all the way upstairs to find out what makeup I used to order some online….. had a wee instead because I had obviously thought that’s what I had gone up there for and came down without looking at the makeup!!!

The 50th anniversary of the disaster which buried 116 children and 28 teachers alive. I was a schoolboy at the time, and remember the shock in my family, and becoming aware of the full horror of what had happened. I won’t watch the programmes, just as I avoid Holocaust programmes. I can’t actually take it – too real. Shame on the NCB!!! God bless those who died, and those who survived.
I was 11 when this happened and started to watch the documentary on it the other night while I was with a 25 year old. Trying to explain the horror and the desperation the whole of the country felt for those poor people that had lost loved ones was exhausting. After half an hour she was so emotional I had to turn over, she will never forget it now and neither will I.
I will watch the rest of it when I’m alone.

Your plea to make things all warm and fuzzy will probably fall on deaf ears. Frankly I miss some of the fun chatters that choose to use Pat’s rather than here but wonder if you don’t help things with some of the utter tripe you spiel about JC people at times!</span>
