You can get cooling coats for dogs, not got one for mine as yet because he enjoys a shower from the hosepipe as much as anything, but I’ve seen them used on Greyhounds which are prone to overheating and they seem to work brilliantly.

Mark, the real world, I had a heart attack, quite serious, discharged myself from hospital despite and had to sign a disclaimer, why, no fucker to look after Molly, my back door was open and I still did it, I am still here, Molly went into kennels and I got the life saving medicine I needed. So when you talk about these issues, I have lived it, been there and got the fucking t shirt. Look after Archie. Amen. :rose:

your back doors are always open said in a sid james arf arf way.

I’m sure I can remember someone not so long babbling on to me about how innuendo is so ridiculously dated – Cosy

Am I the only one who doesn’t even bother trying to read Linda’s posts? Actually, Linda is the only one here that makes me feel stupid, that’s because I can’t understand a word she’s on about 😎

Count me in on that one

Has someone said they also had to be locked up and denied medical help?

That is all and I won’t comment again on this subject as it obviously creates unnecessary conflict.

And that would never do would it.

Alcohol dependency despite the temporary ‘high’, is a depressant and until the user who quite happily drinks themselves into that welcome oblivion, tires of waking up in a pool of their own urine and vomit, never notices fresh buds on a tree and a beautiful sunset, the smile of a pretty lady and the rain on their face, they will continue to drown their sorrows and nothing anybody else says makes a single bit of difference.

Alcoholics don’t require someone else to buy their booze, there are thousands of supermarkets and off licences selling it cheaply who will happily take your cash, no questions asked.

Can you show me where moons name was used?  All I see is lots of generalising .  Oh and btw, my knowledge of it doesn’t come from tittle tattle.

I know, that when alcohol dependency reaches the last stage, an individual would most definitely have liver failure and other organ failure and would be in hospital, having palliative care, to make their last days comfortable, in the last days of their life. Meanwhile, I base my onions on what I have personally witnessed over the past three years and not based on online tittle tattle. *shrug*

Oh dear I could well comment on this but best not.

Comment all you like reason, this isn’t personal is it. It’s not a competition. If you can persuade me differently with facts, I will happily change my own opinion. If you can’t, what’s your point? *shrug*

You talk about organ failure as if it’s a death sentence, it isn’t.

I know the full onset of alcoholism when organ failure is now a real a issue, if that individual continues drinking, is a death sentence. No ifs or buts. I should have made my point clearer, apologies. *shrug*

Yes and usually the only way of them getting alcohol is if someone gets it for them, think this is where this all started.
