Actually, having been on countless sites like this and in a previous guise managing and administrating several of them, most of the time it is influenced by their position one way or another :)

Either someone working harder to be “buddies” with the host/admin or whatever or the host or admin using the position as an easy way to juice up someones gusset for easy entry

One of the things people either forget or deliberately try to ignore is all people (well, stephen hawkins might be debateable) are human, and very few people will be objective and impartial when they have some power or control and people they know are involved, and most other people know that implicitly even tho both sides will always claim innocence in the matter :lol:

Even when I tried to implement rules where nobody could deal with a matter that involved anyone they knew the outcome tended to be that admins that were friendly with the admin who was dealing with it would put the case for their “buddy” (the French Connection UK part of that isnt always there)

So yeah fasty, as a general rule of thumb rather than talking specifically about your actual rusty bullethole tongueing antics, majoratively its far from accidental, often wouldnt even exist as a friendship if the person wasnt what they are or even where their positiion arrived afterwards does tend most of the time to negate any degree of impartial fair treatment most of the time
