If it be atoms, god, spacemen or yourself, whatever you have faith in, it’s your own choice, whatever makes you happy.
18 September, 2006 at 7:55 pm #241840How come you haven’t grasped the concept of good and bad… god and satan? Obviously didn’t take much notice in class or you wouldn’t be saying “too much sh!t happens in this world for there to be one”
18 September, 2006 at 7:49 pm #241838Matty, have you ever read the bible?

Matty you seem very sure of the fact that there is no heaven or afterlife, may I ask how you know this as a fact?
I personally don’t believe in God, I think the whole idea is absurd but I understand that some people need to cling on to the belief that there is something higher who they can turn to in times of need and I understand that. But at the same time no-one can say there is no afterlife, you may not believe it but its one of those thing’s we will never know exists until we die. I’d like to think there is some alternate world where you will see you’re loved ones once you die, its an idealist place and you’re probably right in saying that it doesn’t exist but there’s no way to prove it.
i can vouch 100% sure people do not die and come back to pass messages on through the spooks, if people were able to come back, then i am sure by now, scientfic fact would have appeared along the way, proving this, the same with ghosts, its all in the mind, people somtimes want to beleive in ghosts, we live by this fear too from storys we only here from other people who have seen things at a glance
as for heaven, it was my question, i was’nt saying there was’nt one, i was more saying, i don’t think there is one, i don’t know the answers, i just have my own views like yourself, i just can’t justify a heaven and a god, too much sh!t happens in this world for there to be one
Satan is strong!

Nor can you prove if there is a god or not, how can you begin to think of afterlife when you believe the idea of God as absurd? Surely believing in god advocates that there is another life beyond this one on earth? You contradict yourself.
