Anyone who has read some American literature would know that there are differences between British spelling and American. I don’t see how anyone can fail to know this, unless they either don’t read literature or don’t watch movies either, but you’re sure to come across those differences if you read anything on American web-sites.
I must confess though I didn’t know for sure there were differences in British and Canadian spelling, but it had occurred to me that there might be, seeing as they have so much in common and share a border.
It’s always risky faulting someone else’s spelling on here, because it can easily be you who looks the most ignorant when they enlighten you, and bearing in mind the number of American chatters we have, it’s a cert that you’ll come a cropper if you tell them they are spelling something wrong when in fact they are spelling it correctly.

My spelling isn’t great. I’m a student of the if-it-looks-right-it-probably-is-right school of spelling.

Seing as Jigsy aint replied to this so far, I’m replyin.
I don’t know what this fued is about, and by the looks of it, I never will. From what I’ve read, it seems to be on several threads. It looks to me as though Jigsy has has withstood everything thrown at her and she is still standing. When will peeps realise she won’t be worn-down or admit defeat.
All I’ve been able to fathom is Jigsy is Veronica. I’ve never chatted to Veronica, and only seen her for 2 seconds as I came into the 40s room a few nights back, she laughed, then vanished under the chat-guide boot. Maybe it was a fake, maybe not, I really don’t want to argue that point.
Jigsy replied to a post of mine, but she wasn’t nasty, just commented to the effect my posts were too long for her, but she’s not alone there.
I don’t know you Jigsy/Veronica, but I admire your tenacity in keeping this feud going, not letting it simmer, and keeping it on the boil.
Pats, no offence, but I reckon you’d be best letting this one go.

FFS! Credit where credit’s due, Jigsy won’t be beaten, so in that sense she’s won already to my mind.
I don’t know what’s got into me, maybe I’m just sick of seeing Veronica’s ass so much, not that it’s not a nice ass, on the contrary, it looks in nice proportion to her hips and waist, with firm pert nicely contoured buttocks. I could definitley go for an ass like that. I’m sure Pats had a nice ass too when she was younger.
I’m not really an ass man, or leg man, or a boob man, I’m more a whole body and face kinda man, but if this feud continues and I’m faced with Veronica’s ass every time I look at these boards I’m gonna start dreaming about women’s asses. FFS, I’m starting to think about women’s asses all the time now when I’m in here and it’s making it hard for me to think about other stuff.
I don’t understand this condemnation of people’s nationality. I like Americans and Canadians. They were both part of our Empire, and we have strong ties with them. Okay, criticise a country if you wish, for whatever reason, but don’t condemn an entire nation because you don’t like one chatter, or use their nationality to abuse them. It’s so f..king dumb!

I don’t like the idea of a regular theme night. Doing something like a theme is okay when it’s done impromptu/spontaneous, making it a regular thing is so naff. We did country singers, then some became movie stars, then it was back to all being country singers. Lord Of The Rings ffs? What next? Star Wars? How about 55 Days At Peking? Then we can really drag it out.
