Ditto :)
Well it is all a matter of opinion. And taste.
Pete is rather obsessed with my sexuality – I don’t find that entertaining, more perverse.

One way to divide the different stages of sleep is into REM and NREM sleep. REM is when most of what most people would call dreams occur. It is important to note that REM is not the only stage at which dreams can occur.6 REM sleep is associated with muscle atonia (paralysis of voluntary musculature), gating of sensory input, rapid eye and middle ear movements, as well as heart rate and respiration changes (Carskadon & Dement, 1989; Symons, 1993).7 Muscle atonia is crucial during REM, because otherwise we would act out our dreams.
Wow! Pete’s an expert!
Is it because you are so boring you send ppl off to sleep? :P

You are to all intents and purposes, paralysed while dreaming, it stops the body acting out your dreams. The thrashing about under the influence of nightmares only happens in the movies. This isn’t sleep paralysis as such
People do thrash about when having nightmares / dreams – either that or the televised research done on sleeping patterns is lying.
People have been known to kill their partners whilst asleep and acting out a dream. You can’t do that if you’re paralysed:

Thats interesting stuff Panda in the book ive been reading theres a few chapters on Sleep Paralysis Im whats known as a Lucid dreamer i dont have the ability to control all my dreams but i can wake myself up if things get a little too crazy. One time i was having this really bad dream so i woke myself up and there i was back in my room safe and sound, or so i thought, it took me ages to relise i was still dreaming just simply dreaming of being back in my room so i had to wake myself up yet again lol weird huh.
Little tip to finding out if your dreaming or not look at your wrists if your wearing a watch the chances are your dreaming, its easier for me because i never wear a watch period so if i am wearing one something is wrong, if you are an avid watch wearer simply look at the watch it wont work the way it should many scientists historians and even greek mythologists believe there is no sense of real time in your dreams.
Cheers user, but the problem is, I’m paralysed, so can’t move!
1 August, 2010 at 8:47 pm #444631Sleep Paralysis: Awake But Still Asleep
A person may wake up and find himself unable to move or speak as if he is frozen. He also may hear footsteps, see a ghost-like creature, or feel someone sitting on his chest. Throughout the history, people considered this phenomenon as work done by evil spirits. However, the modern science can explain the terrifying event as a Sleep Paralysis.
A Sleep Paralysis is possibly a hereditary disorder in which one experiences very frightening seconds or minutes of total body paralysis…1 August, 2010 at 8:23 pm #444630eve and userfrenzy, click the link on my previous post for more info on sleep paralysis. It explains it better than me.

Huntley had a duty of care to society. He failed and murdered so no duty of care should be extended to him.

Jen Jen – my Boots Card is safe. Unlike anc I do not treat it with disdain and put it in danger. Nor would I contaminate it by placing it next to my Oyster Cards.
It is sitting on a purple velvet cushion in a re-inforced, bullet proof glass cabinet guarded by a three headed dog called Fluffy.

Yes Panda it does…and that’s what my eldest couldn’t understand.
I don’t use facebook either, infact I probably wouldn’t know how to use it even if I wanted to, that’s why my eldest keeps track on the youngest.LOL Kent – I hope your youngest doesn’t advertise a party at your place via Facebook lol
