Kenty – All is not lost. The people in my cloning labs say they’re close to a breakthrough. There might be more OMalleys kicking around than there are those damn meerkats before long. And they’ll be cheaper (we’re looking at £4.99 for an entry level one and £999.99 for the ‘anatomically perfectly matched’ ones.

(3) If you are going to pretend to be in a foreign country, at least make sure your IP is not traceable or cannot be found out. Again, this is where Katie went wrong and lied saying she was in America, when really she was in the UK somewhere. We all know this because somebody in admin on another site confirmed her IP was based in the UK and not the US.
Oops!Gotta be a bit careful here.. anyone can make their IP address show they’re pretty much anywhere in the world within a couple of seconds. Even an IP address from a particular ISP range doesn’t guarantee the person is ‘with’ that ISP.
Alley cat, next time you want work done for you, could you say at the start rather than at the end? That way we know what we’re doing. T’ank oo
You can be assured I have just as much work to do now as I had before I asked – my intention was not to lighten my workload. I was asked to do a job, the subject matter of which piqued my curiosity, hence my post.
If it concerns you (and whilst we’re suggesting what people ought/ought not to do) perhaps you could make knowing a posters motivation a prerequesite of your answering any questions.

Thanks J. I knew the etymology, I’m just curious as to what it means to people today when they hear or use the word ‘posh’ to describe someone.
What image does it conjure up for you? To your mind, what makes a person ‘posh’? Is it all about money? Do they need to have a certain social standing? Is it a state of mind? That kinda thing…

Ya can’t say that with complete certainty. You can only say you’re allergic to those cat’s you’ve come into contact with. I see two possible courses of action:
1) Come into contact with me, then re-evaluate :D
2) Come into contact with me, then re-evaluate :D
It’s important, I think, to always have choices.
