I looked up White Lie and the definition is “An often trivial, diplomatic or well-intentioned untruth” sums it up. Thing is I use my husband as a sounding board, if I buy a new dress etc I always ask him what I look like and I know he always tells me the truth. Im not offended if he says its awful, when I go out its usually with him and it matters to him how I look. Matters to me too.
I know that women here might be annoyed at my take on this but get over it, if your guy says I dont care how you look I love you whatever you look like, what he is really saying is its a lost cause.
