    How dareeeeeeeeeee you

Its not my fault you have been used like a never washed bog brush by men all your life and don’t trust any of us

I’m not the one promise you the world and only gave you a nasty rash !!!

    Wait… let me think…. hmmm…. nope not me I think…..

Anyway all you do is call me names, tell people I’m full of sh1t and a liar… and some of that’s not true  B-)

And that’s cos I’m not a meet and greet kind of guy !!!

I’m sure if you spend the day with me, you’d find I was a lovey person with an over active imagination.  Who’s reach the point were laffing at the world with the nonsense within is the only thing keeping me sane.  After a life time of hard work and spending every little on myself… I’m starting to sit back enjoy all that a worked for… for so long.

So stop being so negative Kent f obe. You have nothing I want or need.

And there MERRELL’S not CROCS  :negative:

I’m not sure wot world Dra’s is living in… its not the same as mine

But I’m going to work thru this idea or tried too  :good:

After Ge cooks his new mars bar curry recipe with lentils for me… I end up in A&E.  They pump me out then send me home. Will an add pop up in the middle of news at 10 for Ganges Indian restaurants just for me?…. no.

Advertising is more general.  Even mail shots require 250k letters  just to get 1000 or less customers.

Useful information for advertising company’s would be….

How many people saw a doctor due to a minor cut and when?  If your selling plasters that would be good to know.

How many people had a sports injury and when? If you’re selling sports equipment that’s useful cos you can tell when there being used and who by.

Or maybe how many people had fillings last year?  If you’re selling toothpaste and brushes that’s useful.

But the idea of a target add for bunions with your name on it popping up in the middle of babe station is nonsense.  No one in there right mind is going to spend 5k on advertising to sell you a personal tube of  £3.99 bunion cream with your name on it.

Remember advertising needs to make up 0.0001 % of the base product cost or its just not worth the effort.

I feel sharing medical information is important.  They can give my records to anyone they want. Let me tell you why: these are treatment records.

A list of all the drugs and treatment you have had since you were born.

In the last few years existing drugs were found to treat other issues beyond there original scope.  If we think of the humble aspirin: originally this drug was just used for headaches.  Today its a heart treatment, used for Kawasaki disease, pericarditis, and rheumatic fever. Its been around 1897 too.

So if my medical records help researchers find cheap existing drugs with a proven safety record who am I to say no?

That’s good news.  I throught all my ice cream cakes running up my electric bill   :yahoo:

Depends on the amount of ice.

Most homes have a freezer that’s left on permanently.  Some have water chillers and ice makers built in too.

A 1 inch ice cube at 75°F room temperature (24°C) will take 45 to 60 minutes to melt. A standard 1 ounce cube (30 grams) will take 90 to 120 minutes to melt at the same temperature.

In most situations, ice made in a standard ice tray — those plastic models with space for a dozen tapered cubes — takes about three to four hours to freeze in your home freezer.

So a pair of standard ice trays will produce enough ice for a 4 litre air cooler for 12 hours if  1/2 of one tray is used.

    But there another way.

If marble stones were used instead of ice cubes, you’d only have to replace them once a day due to being a metamorphic rock.

Oh frk Ge…. at the start I said:

“I have a full size air conditioning at home”

    :rose:

Portable air conditioning units are a waste of money….even those with an external exhaust.  They cost about the same as a fan heater to run too.   You’re right about the price  :good:

I think its why there a growth in air cooler market within the UK.  Most work spaces have something along the lines of a Devola air cooler continuously connected to mains water.

    Devola 48L Evaporative Swamp Air Cooler 60 Meters Squared White/Grey – DVCL48P

You get more bang for your buck with an air cooler than air conditioning.

    Lets compare two:

Amcor SF8000E Portable Air Conditioner for rooms up to 18 sqm sells for  £330

Devola 48L Evaporative Swamp Air Cooler 60 Meters Squared sells for  £183.

    Devola 48L Evaporative Swamp Air Cooler 60 Meters Squared White/Grey – DVCL48P

Amcor SF8000E running power consumption  is 880W, the Devola’s is only 140w.   So for the same price of running Amcor for one hour, you can run the Devola for 7 hours with 3 times the cooling area.
