The missiles didn’t start raining down on Israel until Israeli warplanes started bombing Beirut and other parts of Lebanon along with the imposition of the blockade. Anyway, Israel thinks nothing of going into the West Bank or Gaza and abducting Palestinians (they have around 10,000 detainees). So why should Israelis spit the dummy out when 3 soldiers are taken captive? Typical hypocrisy and self-righteousness from Israel.

Emma you have a “Let them eat cake” attitude towards the issue of salaries. You say that employers should just pay more money for jobs like crop-picking and cleaning and then there wouldn’t be a shortage of native people wanting to do jobs like that. It’s an unrealistic attitude because the world doesn’t work like that. You talk as if money grows on trees and that paying attractive salaries (i.e. far more than the minimum wage) is something that every employer can do. Even if a law were to be passed forcing employers to pay attractive salaries for something like factory work what you would find is that companies would relocate to another country to reduce their costs. The result of that would be an increase in unemployment.
So yet again it’s clear that BNP policies don’t stand up to the least bit of scrutiny. It’s all crap formulated by idiots for the benefit of morons.
I agree with Slayer. Anyway, the war was a massive over-reaction and the only way the prisoners will be released will be by a prisoner swap which is what Hizbollah wanted in the first place. The war was stupid and nobody gained anything from it, but it’s the Israeli way to shoot first and ask questions later. Just think of all the hassle that could have been saved if Olmert had just gone for a political solution instead of a military one.

Immigrants help to fill skills shortages in various sectors. Foreign entrepreneurs also provide employment opportunities for British people. There are also those immigrants who do really crappy jobs and work ridiculous hours. For example, would you work as a lavatory attendant even if it paid more than minimum wage?

Why are you so bitter? No wonder you can’t find a man, you do nothing but whinge and moan all the time. Life’s too short to spend your life consumed by hatred. Try being a bit more open-minded and your life will be less miserable.

Yes England is predominantly white, but you’ve missed the point that these white people originated from various parts of Europe. Cornish people for example have their own celtic language and traditions more in common with someone from Brittany than someone from Norfolk. You also miss the point that if you originate from overseas then you’re not indigenous.
The future of Britain is a matter for the citizens of the country regardless of skin colour or ethnicity. You’re in a minority if you don’t want any foreign cultural influences in the UK. The biggest foreign cultural influence in this country is American. Are you suggesting we should get rid of all aspects of Americana from this country?
So what if a few Poles come here to try to get work? Even Peter the Great came over from Russia to work in the shipyards of London for a while. It’s no big deal.
