A USB pen is the easiest way – you can also get a lead to connect the computers together to move files over – I’ve used this method before and it’s really easy [but you have to buy the lead!].

Righteeeehoooooo.

Turned off system restore – spent 6 hours running ALL: Adware/Spybot/Spyware Blaster/Dr Alex/Ewido/Ad-Aware/MS Antispyware/XosftSpy/then finally CWShredder………

CWS was in 20 register files and only AdwareSpy found them. Spyware Blaster found CWS in my IE Wallpaper Folder. Ran CWShredder to get rid.

Got rid of it all.

Deleted my Recycle Bin.

Rebooted.

Rechecked with CWShredder.

All gone 8)

[re-set my Restore Point].

The thing is, I never really had any problems – no additional toolbars in IE, no re-directing…….or so I thought……….When I ran HijackThis it showed 3 x Google pages [www.google.co.uk / au / and com] – but they went via the same IP address……………these were the Hijack pages. It’s only because I was doing a Adware check that I knew I had CWS on my pc. The barstewards.

Hmmmm well Tommy if it is a vendetta by Di to RD then yes – bang out of order and this thread should be deleted and maybe Martin or PB can clarify that so it stops the Guide-Bashing………..

BUT, if those things were said then it IS bang out of order – It doesn’t matter whether a guide is on duty or not – [your point A)] – it doesn’t mean a guide can let his/her morals go while off-duty and upset other users ! [this is a general statement to cover all guides, not directed at RD in particular – but best state this for fear of “guide bashing”].

RD has been a CG for ages has he not ??? I do remember RD waaaay back in the days when I frequented for chat rooms………..and certainly don’t remember any problems then. But hey, it was a loong time ago 8).

And I do agree with your opinion to a degree – I have quite a number of spyware/adware/malware removal programmes and each one finds something that the others don’t – so where does one stop ? which is the right one ? etc, etc.

But I do think that Adware Spy is v.good – like I said, the other programmes I have found 1 or 2 items, I ran Adware Spy and it found 400……… [unless of course it is pretending to make it look like it’s doing it’s job………..].

Anyhoo help and take the p’ss if you like – I can handle both ! :wink:

OMG hell yeah !

You know what it’s like, you get to the end of one episode and it’s like *doh* need to see the next one sharpish – need to know what’s going on !

So I cheated. 8)

And it feel gooood :D

Episode 10 Series 2 isn’t shown in the USA until next week……..oooh and episode 9 was such a cliffhanger as well !
