Ok, I did say I’d get back to you and keep you informed. I’ve now had my first online counselling session in anger management therapy with Doctor Blossom the legendary Italian Guru, Spiritual Guide, and Deaconess of moral and ethical virtues. My chubby rudeboy friend so very politely pointed out to me that I should seek therapy for my all too evident online anger issues. No surprise Doctor Blossom came immediately to mind because of her world reknowned therapy she offers that allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment, and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or discomfort. A counsellor is trained to listen with empathy (by putting themselves in your shoes). They can help you deal with any negative thoughts and feelings you have, and I cannot emphasise how tactful and sensitive Doctor Blossom handled me, and I must offer her the utmost praise. She will as planned be restoring my otherwise lost soul to me soon. Doctor Blossom was amazingly perceptive and accurate with her ability to deduce, just from her first session, and in most cases, it takes a number of sessions before the counselling starts to make a difference, yet she was miraculously able to diagnose me with idiocy and being a sociapath in desperate need of medication. It truly is breathtaking to see such natural flair the Doctor has, this showed time and time again during her first session and she was even observant enough to conclude I must return back for more sessions in psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and relationship therapy. I’m really looking forward to the prospects of finally getting all my issues under control. So I’d like to thoroughly recommend Doctor Blossom if anybody else needs any such therapy. Her fees were most reasonable too. Definitely an all round 5 star service,.. except for the massage, and bit at the end was 2 bob.

Yeah, all that would be quite amusing if it wasn’t all so very, very tragic….

That’s my only word on this thread because we all know where this is going……

After reading room history this morning ive decided to divulge something. it appears I didn’t catch my finger in the window locking mechanism, I’m a liar, so…… heres proof. I would like to suggest that people look up cervical radiculopathy, and burst disc at C6/7, I’m just so glad that others haven’t got this, because I didn’t feel a thing when it happened, and still cant feel it, yet I’m mocked for mentioning it when someone asked if I was ok

Lainey please tell me that’s not a doily ?

Always thought it was sad that Jim Croce was killed so young, he wrote some lovely songs…

I don’t see anything on this thread to get rid of the original idea of the alpha male put forward by the former Nazi, Konrad Lorenz.

I don’t see anything on this thread which would remotely suggest why we should be trying to get rid of the original idea put forward by Konrad Lorenz. Admittedly, I know little of this man and his ideas, I have had a quick wiki to see who he is. It’s just one idea of one man, why do you want to get rid of his idea ? and you’re calling him a nazi ? If YOU refute his idea that’s fine, but maybe the billions of others of us would like to hear the idea, especially if it’s a good idea, we have freedom of choice whether we choose to agree with it or not. Konrad Zacharias Lorenz (7 November 1903 – 27 February 1989) was an Austrian zoologist, ethologist, and ornithologist. He shared the 1973 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Nikolaas Tinbergen and Karl von Frisch. He is often regarded as one of the founders of modern ethology, developing an approach that began with an earlier generation, including his teacher Oskar Heinroth. Lorenz’s work was interrupted by the onset of World War II and in 1941 he was recruited into the German army as a medic. In 1944 he was sent to the Eastern Front where he was captured and spent four years as a Soviet prisoner of war. After the war he regretted his membership in the Nazi party. Labelling him a nazi seems a bit harsh in my opinion. He was a medic. He seems at first hand to me to be a reputable scientist who has won the Nobel Prize in Physiology and medicine, and would naturally have some ideas. Do please explain what his so apparently abhorrent and unacceptable idea was that you seem to insist we get rid of, and whilst you’re at it, how about you proffer us with your replacement “better” alternative idea. We can then maybe have a group discussion and see whether said idea of Mr Lorenz should be gotten rid of, and maybe even replace it with your better idea. Please make this good as you’re up against a Nobel Prize winner here .

I read Sceps post differently, I may be wrong , but I took the “I don’t see ..blah blah .. to get rid of …blah blah”  as he doesn’t see anything better than the original idea put forward by Konrad Lorenz ?     Although calling him a Nazi does give a false impression

He doesn’t explain himself very well, posts tend to be a mixture of highly intellectual language and very basic Janet & John style, no offense intended.
