Why do some people tell you somthing, swear you to secrecy, for you to only find out they have told numerous others the same, and the numerous others have blabbed and you still won’t admit to knowing anything because you feel loyalty?!

    I didn’t tell anyone else – honest.

Well just a few people. It’s been a slow day.

The operation wasn’t a complete success anyway.

Been away from the Boards for a few weeks and its lovely to bump into you again.

I am however so shocked that I can’t think of anything I can post in a public forum.

Catching up on everything I have missed on the Boards in the last few weeks.

That was a bit obvious huh?

OK – I’m really skydiving naked into a cactus field in Mexico.

Hey fella. There’s nothing wrong with having to take a bit of medication – lots of people do in their life. But for God’s sake (and your own) take a bit of a break.

Just look after yourself for now. And lay off all the politics and upsetting yourself and other people, at least for a while.

Go on – chill, and hang round people who love you for you, and not for your politics.

Looks up Momens skirt to make sure he’s a fella

Not wearing my kilt today. Nothing to see even then because I prefer to preserve my honour.

    See – good boy!

people should use what I term ‘Chat Rooms’ NCB my luv.

Rumour has it they exist even on this site .

There they’d find a far smaller mix of people who’s individual personalities would flower and find reciprocation.

But they don’t, they just accumulate in the lobby, and the frightened get put off from going elsewhere. Which is a shame, because once upon a time JC was comprised of rooms . . . . . .

Lots of good things on the site generally though – like ol TBD!

Don’t agree with everything the old dog says but he has the most fantastic off the wall sense of humour and has me laughing out loud a lot of the time

    Got to agree with you.

Relaxing and unwinding is difficult nowadays on-line cos it’s so full of people shouting and being abusive. Having a proper debate where people can choose to join in or not also often descends into people just using anonymity to be really unpleasant and personal. Extravagant excuses for racism or other prejudices abound on the grounds of attacking political correctness. Well what happened to not abusing and insulting somebody on the grounds of human decency?

There are however wonderful little chinks of light where people have great stories to tell, or where the most intelligent or most subtle of humour has me laughing out loud. You can also see some really well constructed arguments or some genuine love and care if you look hard enough.

Beautiful and wonderful in parts, but sadly a bit too harsh and nasty – just like a lot of real life then?

Always bearing in mind that I am just a namby-pamby who reckons the world would be a better place if we just tried to get on a wee bit better with each other.

Oh gee – don’t you just love politicians and their sad mixed up reasons for doing things.

Cameron is sending the Tornados from Lossiemouth while he still has them – Lossiemouth being the base he is just about to close because they don’t vote Tory up there. (He could choose to close another but it’s a Lib Dem/Tory marginal.) Isn’t that just after he decided to close Kinloss, a few miles down the road, because we don’t need maritime surveillance any more cos the world is a much safer place now?

He says we can’t afford all of this warfare, then goes round the Middle East with a gang of arms dealers to promote British business. We can sure afford other people’s warfare and then step in and slap them when it looks embarasing.

Not saying that stopping the ol Colonel killing his own people with heavy arms isn’t wrong, but have you seen the horror of other civil wars in Africa, the powerful and moral nations of world have just ignored, including Zimbabwe, where we were just the tiniest bit involved in the past?

Not necessarily wrong just morally inconsistent. And we expect other “less civilised” nations to follow our lead.

    Geez.

I totally agree about the benefits of fresh perspectives and the need to have teams with different views and ideas. I also agree that people shouldn’t be patronised and bullied in the workplace.

Unfortunately with little option of alternative employment these days, it is getting easier to abuse people without any repercussions. Sadly in my experience, if someone tries hard enough and is manipulative enough, you can get rid of almost anyone, or at least bully them until they go off sick or leave.

How many people would really go as far as an industrial tribunal? Most who do never work again in any promoted position.
