I think this is a step too far. Children have brilliant imaginations and can PRETEND they are breastfeeding if they want to mimic mum. We already have pooing and weeing babies, and ones that you can bottle feed. Why do we really need one that mimics breast feeding too?
The nightmare visions of “whatever next” rush to the forefront of a reluctant brain !
Just Chat Toddler Edition – stunt the development of your child’s emotional well being and speech centre by encouraging him or her to swear at and express rage towards people they cannot see and are unlikely to interact with in the flesh.
Marvel at their first troll and that day they made a perfectly decent reasonable person disappear for 6 months by the overwhelming and demeaning nature of their posts.
Feel your chest swell with pride as they get banned from the chatroom, before having to buy a new computer and change ISP before they can sneak in under the radar and post again. Be amazed to notice as they grow up that age does not mellow them, improve their chi or make them nicer to their fellow human beings.
If it’s good enough for us big kids – it’s good enough for the little ones (or weans for the Scots amongst us).
Sorry – bad day

I remember the spaghetti tree one… did you know spaghetti grows on trees?
:P :? :P
Are you referring to the failure of the spaghetti harvest story on Nationwide in the 70s?
That’s really showing your age!

1 April, 2011 at 5:56 pm #462080It’s all just a bit disturbing.
If a kid wants to copy something fine but you don’t have to give them a special toy so that they can turn the activity into a fetish. Nothing wrong with breast feeding (or indeed being obsessed with breasts and having fun with them!) but taking it that far for such young kids is a bit much. Let them develop their own way, and explore their bodies at their own pace.
I think I share most people’s fears when I think that e shouldn’t mess with these things at that age.
If it hadn’t appeared earlier, I would have sworn it was an April Fool.

Looking forward to my next tattoo……….had the consultation…now just waiting for a cancellation because they are so busy………hopefully I won’t wimp out again like last year.
Next tattoo? You are a dark horse.
You’re a braver woman than me (well you know what I mean – I’m not a woman, most of the time anyway).
Never had a tattoo. It’s not the pain. Just indecision about what design and never pulling my finger out to do it.

You know something….gossip and bi tching was always used as a butt of stand up comics jokes as being a female perogative. Since using the internet, I have observed that unfortunately, it is the MEN who are far far worse than any women at making personal and uncalled for remarks, bi tching and generally trying to get everything to descend to the lowest level they can possibly manage. They thrive on unrest and discord, and positively bask in the animosity they leave oozing in their wake.
Ladies…. I applaud you all for your generous spirits and kindness to others. We know how to tell a jape from a jackanape now don’t we lasses! =D> =D> =D>
There are too many words in the english vocabulary to describe women negatively unfortanately, so the male species has a field day.
We just call them Arseholes and be done with it :lol:Oi Kenty – what’s with the sweeping statement? Some of us do our best to moderate our arsehole tendencies.
*Thinks about making a joke abpout women and sweeping and decides that the sexism would ruin his original point.*
Damn – I thought that out loud.
