    http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/oct/07/nick-cohen-jimmy-savile-child-abuse

I don’t normally hold with posting links but would rather type my own thoughts, however in light of this thread I thought this article from the Guardian quite apt at demonstrating how important it is not to undermine or belittle claims of sexual abuse.

I too don’t want a poli bashing thread. She is entitled to her opinion as are we all and she has some valid points.

I do hope that all the men in what could well be a paedophile ring around Jimmy Saville are brought to justice. As for the dead person, he is just one aspect of guilt, everyone around him, the police at the time, all the “grown ups” who didn’t listen, all the people who turned a blind eye, society in general, all are guilty.

    I have just watched it.

I just don’t understand how people didn’t know. I was trying to remember a time when I didn’t know. Seeing some footage of top of the pops and clunk click etc reminds me of how uncomfortable the children used to look when with him. All you have to do is look at body language. Children are very good barometers. If a child looks uncomfortable with someone then you can be sure they have a reason.

Richard, who was not war like, but really a bit bookish, was framed.

Don’t get Richard III mixed up with Richard Madeley.

You obviously don’t read around subjects much or you would know that there are many really well thought of historical experts who believe that Richard III was innocent of the murder and that it was actually Henry Tudor who had the boys as hostages and had them both killed, then married their older sister to ensure his very shaky claim on the throne was secure.

    Thicky

Oh.. and Henry Tudor didn’t tell anyone the boys were dead until 1486….. why would that be then? And that was when he married their older sister.

There are too many things that do not add up if Richard was supposed to have killed them.

I am not re-writing history, there are lots of people who believe that Richard was innocent, and that Henry VII killed the boys in the tower.
