Can you imagine being on jury service and trying to keep a straight face in order not to be found in contempt of court haha
Years ago my mum did jury service on a rape case and her tummy kept rumbling really loud and she giggled a little and the judge told her that she should consider the severity of the case and if she laughed again she would be found in contempt.

Ok some prime examples of benefits cheats….
A builder whose back put him on the sick for years but who still ran his business and carried out all the tasks of his job normally…. like carrying and to and froing etc…. while taking tax payers money at the same time…. the good olde phantom bad back lol
Someone claiming carers allowance for a partner who couldn’t even put their shoes on apparently… yet dug them a 5 ft deep garden pond out over the course of a weekend…..
I wouldn’t grass them up. Just coz its not in my nature to do so but it does seriously peave me that they exploit the system and take all our hard earned money from taxes for just being a bit sly.
The misconception here is that the government has a pot of money that they just magic out of no where….. they don’t…. they take it out of our pockets… you and me…. on things you buy, work, driving your car etc etc etc If people didn’t exploit the system so much we wouldn’t be one of the most taxed countries in Europe. (This debate could be extended into immigration and nhs exploitation and all sorts but I won’t go there)
Anyhoooo I forgot what am rambling on about now.

my thoughts are not with why this woman did this and if shes a murderer or not… that is clear to me….
I wonder why society have failed them all so badly??
Why did the GP, the health visitors, the midwife, the children’s nursery school staff, neighbours etc etc etc not notify social services that the children were at risk??? If she was as gloomy and as ill as said to be then they all had good reason to.
Children are regularly put onto the at risk register and are observed for less reason than was presenting in this case.
It’s once again a case of people burying their heads in the sand and thinking… “not in my backyard”.
