Some get to the point where online is their real life and real life is just a non entity.
There are always those who will accuse others of being here 24/7, my argument to that is, they must also be here 24/7 to actually know to be able to accuse?, but no, the accuser will always claim higher ground and moral standpoint lol which i must admit makes me giggle.
i spend roughly 60-90 minutes a day in chat (if anyone is there in F3) i used to be more a pop in and out person through the day, it helped me to pace my real life activity and rest in between doing stuff ( i have a problem which means im a very bad patient). but because the lunatics were allowed to take over the asylum of chat, i no longer pop in through the day and keep my chat time to just early mornings. by early i mean between 5 and 8 am although im not here for 3 hours. i love a giggle and to interact with others, its “different” to meeting up with real life friends.
All people that use chat have issues, even me. we are all trying to escape “something” mine (and this is perfectly true) is that i don’t handle being disabled very well after being an over active person all my life.
:People use chat for differing reasons, some are lonely, some are angry, some need attention and flattery, some are looking for sex or even a partner. but on the whole no, i dont think its really healthy to use a chatroom more hours than you dont use one.
you lose sight of what is real.
