first of all….. Hugs Nem. very brave post.
I counselled many adults with depression, self loathing, guilt, which stemmed from abuse as either kids, or from an abusive marriage, its true you have to get to the root cause to actually come to terms with it, and some say “why now” well most keep a can of worms deeply hidden, but it only takes one more catastrophe or catalyst to split open that can of worms and you have to deal with it because them worms aint going back in the can!
problem is when you’re trying to be brave and pretend youre not depressed which most depression sufferers do. their serotonin levels get so low that the body forgets how to make it for the rest of your life, and you end up having to take serotonin reuptake drugs forever.
Hope you get your counselling soon Nem, it will help i promise it may not feel like it at first confronting demons youve hidden, but a type of freedom from it quickly follows xxxx sending you hugs x

Saw the post about Opals….. when i was in Australia, i bought a fire opal the depth of colour was amazing blues greens and bright reds, it was only a small piece set in a 24 ct gold ring but i loved it
I absolutely love the magnolia tree my daughter bought me a couple of years back, but for perfume it has to be daphne, its beautiful

Agree with Moosey’s and Jamief’s posts. as you both know i have also been a “target” by both chatters and guides/hosts (not all but some),
i use ignore frequently in the rooms but the problem is still members relogging as guest numbers to continue their vitriol,
how sad is that? there is no control to be had in a virtual chatroom/pub/gameroom/message board. it isnt real, i can remember being told “this is a lifeline to some and the only human interaction they get”… well yes that was me too and still is (although i don’t come here as often now because of….. no never mind! its private.) but i sure as hell am not going to be called names by people who have never met me or know me.
as for the boards, ive only just started to read them again after “poor” tracy’s meltdown after some incident in the chatroom (which i know nothing about). but know shes posted photos of me from my facebook (and yes it is locked down) dunno why they feel i am such a threat they need to try and run me out.
on the other side of this, i read JC magazine the other day and was howling with laughter all the way through it and even asked whether whoever does it will do another panto this year, maybe those that call for the boards dissolution, should read those posts instead of complaining about ones they don’t like, but yes i do understand that some arent happy unless complaining and calling for anarchy!
