Hi again Everyone,
Time is getting closer and still time for other regs to save up to join those who have already booked or made arrangements.

Everyone is looking forward to the weekend and a few regs def will be dressing up on the Sat night. At the moment I have 48 names on the list some have said they hope to or might go. Plus over 25 on the list are definately going. Others cant say quite yet if def for reasons.

Any one else interested in going please contact myself or Welsh_Fem_1 if you would like your name on the list (which I keep just for rough numbers for the hotels and the clubs who need some idea for seating and meals in the case of the pub for sat lunch.)

PS Yes im dressing up even if i wont be winning one of the prizes not sure what as YET for def. Though I shall ignore any nasty suggestions which certain chatters who I dont need to name might suggest lmao though some funny suggestions on who might dress up as what and why you think they should could be quite amusing,

PPS Im sure Monkey will look very well turned out wether his hair is real or not (Besides remeber you lot the old saying about bald men lol wont quote it think you know what I mean)

Hi Everyone,

As you already know the Travel Lodge (Central) Swansea is the main hotel and the other is the Premier Inn (Central) Swansea.

The Travel lodge is £39 per room per night (fixed price) non refundable
£50 per room per night (Flexable) refundable if cancelled early enough.
Travel Lodge has to be paid when you book on line or by phone.

IMPORTANT …… Please be carefull when I went to see about booking by phone unknown to me at the time as soon as you give Post code and email info they set up an on line acount and send you a password. when I checked it showed a bill for 4 double rooms prebooked for 23rd Jan2010 in Nottingham with 4 different booking numbers trying to charge me almost £200 so if you get email after booking by phone or on line I strongly suggest you sign in and make sure your not being charged for someone elses booking.

The Premier Inn
charges £48 for the Friday per room
£68 for the Sat per room
Booking by phone or on line Payment Due on arrival (handy if you need to save)

If cancelled their is no charge as long as befor certain time on the day if late cancelling you will be charged your first nights stay.

Though a little dearer the premier in provides hairdryers in rooms and shampooh shower gel etc

Please note these prices do not include breakfast for either hotel which can be provided if required.

Those already planning to go are aware I was going to stay at the Main Hotel to be on hand for any problems. Due to Their (just put load percentage signs here with an UP at the end) As think that about covers what i am sorely tempted to put……… I have now booked into the Premier Inn so will still be on hand but short distance away from the Main Hotel.

Having spoken to Both Hotels this evening They do at the moment have plenty rooms for the meet dates.

Last but not least the Sat Venue has been provisionally booked so we have our own area of seating for about 20 reserved this can be amended to more and will be if we require which is possible as already at this early stage we have almost 30 saying they plan to go some who have already booked.

PARKING Please check available parking for your hotel with them as you might find both hotels have an arrangement with a close cark park. Their are other small car parks about which may be free for certain times but charge for others. The price we have to pay for being right in the city center . The premier in does mention parking but doesnt state if its their own. Travel lodge def use another car park.

Hi again everyone,

The hotels mentioned room rates are per room not per person which will allow 1 2 or 3 people to share rooms if they wish to making it cheaper still. Please remeber if you wish breakfast thats extra.

There is a new club opened which we think will be just what we need for the Sat it is called Retro it has a large seated area and bar at the front with seprate seated area beyond where dance floor is so we can sit in either bit and get soemwhere to be able to drink and chat or dance and drink. (Plus a beer garden to sit and smoke in)

Oh this next bit is NOT COMPULSORY

due to reqests at last meet this one is fancy dress on the Sat night for anyone wishing to dress up (only if you want to) their will be a small prizes for the best male fancy dress and best fem fancy dress ……. Anyone who knows me knows on the main meet night I def dont dress what is classed normal so anyone dressed up wont feel out of place as loads go out in fancy dress on sat nights here.

I wont win any prize though lol as I will be judging along with Welsh fem whos best. …. In the event that Weslh decides to go in fancy dress then I wil ask one of the regs Not in fancy dress to help choose the winners.

Hi Hun,
Must be very hard am sorry for your loss. Maybe in time you will get the courage to come back to Wales. Your memories will always be with you. In time you will be able to visit the places you loved going to together.

If you do feel you want try be brave you know youl be welcomed at the meet whatever one you treid to attend. If thats to hard the you know you can aways come and visit and meet up without being a chat meet.

If you want chat mel you have my board email and you know im often around form 3. If you change your mind let me know hun as would like to have you join us. You still have plenty time to get used to the idea coming.

Hi everyone,
I though I would just make on post on the the Welsh Meet thread just to say a few things.
First thank you all for coming those that made it.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and just sorry some had to cancel for different reasons but I am sure there will be other meets to make up for that.

I will be contacting the The Dolphin Hotel to thank the Management and staff for the nice meal they provided us with. With special thank you to the bar maid on Sat afternoon who stayed on an extra hour just for us when she didn’t have to and for the welcome they gave us while there.

It was great to see old friends and make new ones in person and to put faces to names which we have all known in chat some for a long time some more recent forum three users.

Plus thank you to the club and the people of Swansea who made everyone so welcome. Especially the fake sailors lol ……. one of which was def cute but too short to be in the navy.

It has been suggested that we should have a Bigger meet maybe End June somewhere much more central and it has been suggested we make it fancy dress for the Sat night for those wishing to dress up for a laugh.

Talking of Big lastly id like to wish Big Bear a speedy recovery and to say next time get there in one piece pleaaaaaaase safley.

Thanks again everyone I for one had a great time and if I do arrange another meet sometime next year please remember everyone who uses Forum Three is welcome to go with out getting personal invite.

awe Thanks thistle love the pic i remeber seeing a dress just like that once in a winter xmas cothes sale in one of those country xmas decorations and clothes places It was gorgious till I read the lable was about £500 odd
