Given the choice, I would choose Trump any day over China, Russia, or impotent, socialist western Europe. I had to laugh today when Biden claimed that NATO members are going to start paying their fair share under the alliance. Trump demanded it years ago. Only when Putin scared the west by invading Ukraine did any of these countries even co…[Read more]

The numbers much higher than you think, not the small amount the government is claiming.
Under the family reunion rules, most arent being counted since there “joint claims or visa’s”.
An example would be: 2 sets of grandparents, mother, father, 2 kids under 18 = 1 visa.
I remember being told back in 2004 not to worry too much about…[Read more]

I’m started to get annoy with the whole Ukraine thingy.
750,000 have arrvied in UK since the war started. This is costing around £160 million per week. (Not including health care and education costs.)
The Ukraine’s who arrived here will never go back.
The government is also giving 1.3 billion pounds in military support and aid.

I’m much more likely to be harmed by a police officer than a criminal.
No police in this country are unarmed though, they all carry tasers, which are much more dangerous than most people seem to think they are.

You caught me by surprise, Drac. I would never want unarmed police. We don’t have them unless they’re metermaids writing parking tickets. Unarmed police mean criminals can be in charge if all they do is bring a gun with them.

The nature of the police is also a significant difference between the US and the UK, although with the refusal of the police to intervene in some of the recent school shootings clearly shows that they don’t exist to protect people.
I have always been deeply distrustful of the police, i’m not sure how this is a surprise to you

“One of the reasons I moved out of Manchester was because there were armed police patrolling everywhere.”
That seriously is the stupidest thing you ever wrote. Debating retards is a waste of my time. It’s like trying to play chess with a houseplant. There is no point for me to participate in this thread any longer.

Nothing in the article you linked contradicts anything I said
Yes, there are background checks, but you also need those in the US to buy a gun.
Its not very much harder to get one, the difference is cultural not legal.
The main argument being made in this thread is that crime rates in the UK are lower because of ‘gun control’.…[Read more]

And yes, I know class 2 licences only cover shotguns, but it takes about 5 seconds to modify a breach loading shotgun into a rifle.
Doing that is probably illegal, but so is shooting people.
So I dont think that’s the problem. -
draculina replied to the topic Trump and guns in the forum Getting serious 2 years, 6 months ago
Therefore, to claim that gun violence in the UK is lower because of ‘gun control’ is nonsense.
Anyone who wants a gun can fairly easily obtain one, not sure where the ‘control’ is.
Even ignoring the bill of rights, class 2 firearm licences are shall issue, which means they cannot legally be refused and must be given to anyone who asks for one.

Gun ownership is legal in the UK.
Not only is it legal, it is a right.
You can get AR-15’s in the UK.

Mr Fishy replied to the topic Trump and guns in the forum Getting serious 2 years, 6 months ago
There only tiny detail you missed out
Illegal ownership in the UK
Even with control laws, people are still dying.

Hi my name is Dandy and I’m cool
Gun control really works
In the UK we have less than 7,000 gun offences yearly
