oh dear lot of emotional content on  vaccinations.  been listening to radio etc and reading up on this stuff. overall majority of ‘experts’ think lockdown was justified and we were not doing ENOUGH to stop spread. Uk very slow in some areas eg incoming flights and closing borders to untested. while its nice to liv din a country where we can have freedom to have a jab. it was also raised as many whom object strongly to covid jab had raised NO objections to other vaccinations. eg polio .smallpox etc    science has demonstrated many times that vaccination plays a fundamental role in controlling  spread of disease but with such fast easy spread ( airborne) and lack of science regarding how far an air carried virus can travel just by breathing and in restricted areas, trains etc it was  messy and misjudged when we look back.  however many countries agree unvaccinated are the most single cause of further increase and spread of virus plus succumbing medically in more cases to higher  health issues when contaminated than vaccinated.  hence we are hearing  countries banning people unvaccinated form bars. cafes .cinemas etc where they are likely to both spread virus and be a huge demand on health services if contracting disease. so bottom line is ..if you want to keep your right to stay unvaccinated then that ought to come with responsible attitude of STAYING at home and not mixing socially as majority countries. etc agree these are the very people causing issues. hence Uk is pushing on with huge expensive program of trying to vaccinate everybody possible and of almost all age groups.  your choice at moment but don’t complain if any government stops travel and social activities for unvaccinated.  choose you path in life but do consider others too .

never met anybody from this site. wife would not be happy if I did !  though I did manage a meet many years ago (about 15 or so) with another chat group when wife was working and I had free time. ( wife actually agreed I could go meet) met in London Covent Garden station ( just outside) we all went for a drink and a meal. I had to leave sadly and not  be part of evening where group wandered about and visited other places :(  .   still memories are of a decent bunch of people and quite a nice chat. can’t recall any names now but hey ho. doubt I will ever meet anybody from JC but thats life I Guess. not found anybody really annoying etc but maybe I don’t rate as worth annoying lol .have greta day and stay safe everybody.

surprised we can afford anything .Uk almost bankrupt and still giving away billions in aid each year.  rumours have it civil servants get a bonus when meeting aid ‘targets’ . you can’t make it up. charity in Uk’s case does NOT begin at home.

sadly all behaviour os down to combination of bringing and social rule(s) enforcement . hence UK one of worlds distaste places when it comes to litter. everybody being brought up to think they have ‘rights’ and somebody else is paid to clear up after them etc . no local (national) law enforcement etc

electric bikes all over place around here .mostly on pavements but roads too. they are trying to get a petition going to make them road legal as at moment not!  dont mind them on roads as same as bikes but  would like them to be insured and road tax too .after all, if using roads  why should it eb free ( yes I would apply to cyclist’s too and I was one -still got a bike)  minimum tax of course say £5 a year.  don’t like them on pavements as far too fast and like cycles can easily cause serious injuries to somebody coming round a corner or out of gate etc  .especially young children. wife nearly had her face ripped open when coming out of chemist in clacton on sea where pavement cycling is common and he was doing the ‘normal’ one wheel in air  thing so common  in essex.  so handlebars missed wife face only as she pulled it out of way by a whisker. no apology from teenager..more an attitude I think that we were in wrong by being in way!

pretty sure they did a documentary on marylin monroe .conclusion was she was murdered and raped.  death by excess drug abuse being if I recall correctly the official  verdict.  always going to be conspiracy theories . how about  driver shortage months after  all the economic migrants went home .. thus fuel shortage deliberate ? to get relaxation on migration again. not that they need it if current news is correct about hundreds a week arriving  courtesy of RNLI. joke going round now saying “anybody got a license to drive a lorry gets first  place to stay”.  :negative:
