I gave £2 to someone collecting for the British Heart Foundation and as per usual, got a sticker that allowed me to walk past all the others. But here’s the thing – some little kid put 10p in and also got a sticker. How’s that fair? I should’ve been given loads of them if that’s the way they’re operating

Are you Scottish by any chance?

Someone clearly hasn’t been paying attention. But fair play for rolling out the same comment that I’ve heard countless times, it never loses it’s comic value. It’s that kid that’s the tight one – probably wasn’t even his money either.

I’m off to bed anyway cos I’ve got an early start tomorrow. Well, early in that I don’t usually get up until about 11.30am

Never had a cat anyway, I just thought it was hilarious because I’m that sort of caring individual

My cat got run over by a car when I was a kid, was sure it was dead but next morning there it was in the front room looking better than ever.

New coat, even looked like a kitten again. Can’t remember the vet’s name but he did a great job. They can work wonders so I wouldn’t worry too much

   Other people’s misfortune

You’d be better off sending your two quid a month to sponsor an African child but I really don’t see the logic to that either, they’re fasting anyway. Why do we need to sponsor them to do it?

I’ve never been asked for ID anywhere, I was in Ayr a couple of weeks after my 18th and bought Halloween & Halloween II on video (eighteen rating) no problem even though I looked no different than a few years ago. Infact, the only time I’ve ever been asked my age (note: I wasn’t asked for ID before some smartarse tries to point out that I’m contradicting myself) was when I wanted to buy a CD. It had a ‘Parental Guidance’ sticker and as I was only 14 they wouldn’t sell me it.

Like I had never heard swear words before  Somebody thought I was 14 once when I was 19, in the pub being served alcohol (I was a bit more partial to it then) Who knows what folk think now, but I think I look younger than 26.

Just learnt today that ITV and BBC (who WE pay for) didnt even put a bid in for cricket.

GOOD!!! I don’t want to pay for cricket, bad enough paying for Alan Hansen and glorified go-kart racing.

A simple ‘Yes, you’re right’ would have done. No need to get hissy. And btw, if I filmed someone being stabbed I’d be a sick freak.

One of my neighbours took a photo from his house of a man letting his dog mess on the pavement.
The guy with the dog saw he was having his picture taken and reported it to the police who are now investigating the incident as a breach of dogman’s Human Rights.

and, as if that wasn’t enough,

the council have told him they can’t use the photograph as evidence against dogman because it hadn’t been taken by one of their employees.

    That’s a cheek.

No it’s not, it’s the law.
