Think it depends on what angle you see it from, first look at it I thought it was the right decision. Having watched it side on, it looks like Beye got to the ball before he made contact with the player and as such it’s the wrong call. How often does a ref have a good game though? It happens, but they’re always gonna get more wrong than…[Read more]

Still won the ball and I thought that’s what the rule was, it’s one of those grey areas. It can be viewed as many different ways and there’s a strong arguement for both points of view.

Puts pressure on the referees as well, next time something similar happens it’ll really be under the microscope. As for video technology, in situations like that…[Read more]

Another fup – Beye got a touch of the ball, no penalty, no red card.

  • Aye, I liked it at first then lost interest. Never been much of a sci-fi fan so a sitcom set on a spaceship has limited appeal. Liked My Hero until James thingyfs took over, Ardal O’ Hanlon played it brilliantly at times.

  • I never got into it, watched it a couple of times and thought it was quite funny but it was just one of those things that I didn’t take to.

    Same with Red Dwarf.

Has this got anyone else thinking of the Berti Vogts era? Fans divided, tactical criticism, player unrest, sounds familiar.

Something’s not right in the Scotland set up and I think it’s about respect. Read Des McKeown in the Sun today and I agree fully with what he said, how many players walked out on or challenged Smith or Big Eck?

There’s just something about Burley that doesn’t inspire me as a fan and I reckon the players may feel the same. Goes back to the point I…[Read more]

From his comments today, it looks like Walter Smith isn’t going to speak up to defend Boyd and that says more about the player than anything Burley will ever say.

The best ‘bah, humbug’ moment of all time:

A few years ago at work, a couple of the girls in the office were merrily singing along to a christmas carols CD when our boss phoned through and told them to stop it as they were in a working environment and as such, it’s not the time or place

    We weren’t even busy.
