I’m guessing it probably looks like some sort of key

I love mine, fair enough it’s tedious sometimes. Some days/nights when there’s nothing happening can be painfully long, but then there are others when you know you’re really helping and they’re the ones that make it worth it. A lot of the work I do can literally make all the difference and it rarely goes unappreciated. It’s annoying when you can’t…[Read more]

  • Now that it’s drawing to a close, is anyone else dissapointed by BB themselves? I thought they were supposed to be ‘tough’ this year. With the exception of the Dennis and Alex or whatever her name is, they’ve tolerated a lot.

There’s been a lot of repeated rule breaking – Kat springs to mind – and the punishment is really just to go and sit in…[Read more]

Was she illiterate or something? What’s with the capital letters in the wrong places, where’s the sentence structure?

Here’s one in blank verse (incidentally, I used that phrase on my first day of Higher English. It was all downhill from there and I failed spectacularly)

I read a poem from WooHoo
    It was pish

I think I’ve missed my true calling

  • Got a new printer today, set it up in no time – only to find that there was a problem with the ink cartridges. They were loaded in fine, clicked into place in the right place so couldn’t think what the hell was wrong with it.

Problem was that one of the cartridges, that came with the printer, seemingly isn’t compatible with the printer

  • JohnBoy25 replied to the topic Canon Pixma MP220 in the board Technical Q&A 17 years ago

Fixed it – and it’s ridiculous. One of the cartridges, that came with the printer, wasn’t compatible with the printer.

Why it was in there in the first place (got it from Argos, thankfully I bought another ink cartridge when I was there) god alone knows.

  • JohnBoy25 replied to the topic Canon Pixma MP220 in the board Technical Q&A 17 years ago

No, it’s not that. There isn’t any tape on them – don’t think so anyway. There is orange tape attached to them that you are instructed to remove initially. Then there’s that strip of tape that runs from the bottom of the cartridge round the back. Does it come off as well?

Actually, to be clearer – it was the protective tape I removed.

  • Famly aside, I wouldn’t give anyone anything – big house, big gates, big ‘f**k off’ sign directed at all those ‘Could you spare me a couple of minutes of your time’ timewasters, loads of land and trespassers shot on sight :D

  • JohnBoy25 replied to the topic RANGERS FC in the board The locker room 17 years, 1 month ago

I do think that if Rangers were in Europe they’d have to look at that area but as you said, they should be strong enough domestically. Bougherra looks good from what I’ve seen of him but Weir’s the only real option to partner him. Think Edu can play at the back as well though, losing Cuellar might just be the best thing to happen to Rangers for a…[Read more]

  • Finished GTA IV!!! :D :D :D :D

Now I can play through the alternate ending at my leisure.

  • JohnBoy25 replied to the topic RANGERS FC in the board The locker room 17 years, 1 month ago

Davis in, Mendes in, Edu signed (apparently, even though a work permit needs to be secured) Bit of quality in the midfield does a lot of good, the defence isn’t that bad despite the fact that our right & left backs are both natrual central defenders.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that, hopefully a stronger midfield will create more chances.

  • I have created a save point just before that particular one starts (that was the plan all along as I heard there were two endings) and I do know what happens if you choose the other option, I just want to see how it plays out.

I didn’t know what happened with the option I went for, I thought the final decision came in the final mission, so it was…[Read more]

  • Out Of Commision – the final mission on GTA IV. Not that difficult, just long and frustrating combining my least favourite aspects of the game. And when I’ve done it, I’ll have to do it again to see the alternate ending

I’m kidding, they won’t get relegated. Won’t be for the lack of trying though

Or there’s always next year, League One is bound to be easier

Cuellar was bound to leave, I’m actually surprised that he was still there at the end of January. I heard after the Liverpool game that the reason he wasn’t played pre season was to prevent him picking up an injury and the reason he came off against Raith (if I remember rightly) was so that they could justify not playing him against Kaunas.
