Good heavens, really? Attacking someone because they dared to share a sadness? Now that IS low.
Hugs to you Moon, we all miss people who have passed from time to time and if we can’t show compassion to another when they share that sadness then it’s a sad world indeed. Yesterday I found an email in my spam folder from a friend who died just a few months ago (my friends are my family). Her yahoo account must still be active and been hijacked but it was a bit of a jolt, set me to thinking of the friends I have lost over the years.
Keep her alive in your memory and your heart and she will always be with you xx
Does being that sanctimonious come naturally or did you have to try hard?
If showing compassion for another human being is seen as sanctimonious then guilty as charged. I would rather be accused of that than of being callous and uncaring any day of the week.

19 August, 2015 at 3:39 pm #527839I did read what you typed. To me it read like an attack, what else should “don’t throw the sister card, that’s as low as someone can go” read like? It isn’t compassion for another’s sadness, that’s for sure.
If someone says they are feeling sadness for the loss of someone close to them then I give them my compassion, regardless of anything else they have said elsewhere. I know all about loss, as do you and many others. If giving compassion and berating others for attacking another person’s sadness is sitting on my high horse then I shall continue doing it and enjoy the view. If you want to stay in the gutter splashing around in the muck then that, of course, is your right and privilege. I hope you enjoy it.

Yuck Mr Harp, you’re now showing your true colours ….
Do you have a sense of humour? :?
18 August, 2015 at 11:59 am #527826I’m not going to get into an argument with you but just to clarify, you say you haven’t got a clue who I am yet you have spoken to me many times over the years, replying to me here and talking to me in the chat room. Yes I use a different name in the chat room although sometimes I use this name too but it’s no secret that I am Phoenix-f in the room. I don’t change names to abuse, I like to think that I don’t abuse people but I more than happy to say anything I have to say in my own name.
As for sanctimonious spiel, one comment is hardly spiel but hey, if arguing is what keeps you entertained, fill your boots, I’ll leave you all to it, on almost every flipping thread in this section. As you were
