Not a geek or dweeb but I had something similar….got the latest firefox upgrade and couldn’t sign in here or some other places I go that use Java. Uninstalled and reinstalled Java and all ok again…..worth a try until someone comes up with a better solution.

Hmmmmm……I have two friends with Parkinsons so seeing the humour but also mildly upset by it.

BTW, did you know that if you shake a collection box at people you can be charged with demanding money with menace? A policeman told me that when I was at a supermarket collecting for our local breast care unit…..I told him to go ahead and charge me, the unit could do with the publicity as it was in danger of shutting down, I shook my tin a bit more and he just looked down at my chest region and smiled……don’t know why

The reason so many “foreigners” speak English (or, increasingly, American) is cos the English and the Americans can’t be bothered to learn to communicate in their hosts’ language and expect the host to accomodate them instead. Too many English people arrive in foreign countries without a word of the local lingo and expect to be instantly understood, whilst grumbling if visitors to England can’t speak English.

And there was me thinking last night that even wishing for a tenth of it was greedy……

Good point about the health aspect though, it sounds like a dream come true to never worry about money again, but that kind of money and the changes it brings can’t be good for the mental health, it will bring stress of a different kind…..mind you, I wouldn’t mind a chance to see how I could deal with that stress!

(would give lots of the money away of course…..)
