I went (as a favour) to the Apollo with my brother to see the Jam and the New Hearts in oh ’78? My girlfriend never believed I went to see them (as I was a Yes/genesis freak) and we were never the same after that ;(
did this elsewhere but I am PROUD that my first LPs were SnowGoose, Slade Alive and Who’s Next (tokens for xmas)

Do I get brownie points for saying that I saw Genesis with Gabriel TWICE! Lamb tour 1975 (Apollo) – Mrs Thompson bought us the tickets as we were youngsters (awww she sadly died of breast cancer :( )- and Milton Keynes in the mud in 1982 (I think) – Genesis kindly bailing out the impoverished Gabriel. I also saw Gabriel solo several times including an entire set sung in German in Berlin.
and Chris Squires Fish out of Water was better than Hillage you b@stards!!!
