Over the last few years I have read a few posts by Tintin about how his illness had affected him

They were very powerful in the respect that he could explain what happened to him and how his life had changed completely

I applaud his dignity right to the end and hope he now has found peace

But the send off he received was fantastic as it seems it was the definition of his life

My father died in 1994 and was cremated at Oxford Crematorium where his ashes were scattered

My mother died in 2003 and at her request her ashes were also scattered at Oxford Crematorium

Well I waited until I saw either you or Helen or both to confront you with this accusation face to face so to speak. As you both know I confronted both of you this afternoon in the Chat Forum Three. I wanted to make sure Helen wasn’t incapacitated as she seemed to be unable to post for herself. As Helen wasn’t there for the whole debate and hadn’t seen what had gone on and had no idea of what was going on behind the scenes it would have been more advisable for her to have pm’ed me and asked if someone she was talking to had been indeed gagged.

For your information there was only one person I gagged who I felt was making offensive remarks about immigrants. Of course if Helen was beguiling someone with her sparkling personality and relevant opinions on the debate in question at the time then I’m sorry the recipient didn’t reply to her in pm but that doesn’t mean they were gagged.

Had Helen simply contacted me or another Host or Guide then this matter would have been cleared up in a trice, after all there were other moderators in situ at the time so it could have been addressed promptly instead of posted as a whinge about a site you both choose to use regularly.

I have to the say the debate was quite heated at times, interesting, informative, thought provoking yet soured by a few. I hope there will many more!

Let’s hope in future ‘Girl Power’ will win through and women will feel they can speak for themselves. Ms Pankhurst didn’t chain herself to railings for nothing you know !

At the same time there was a discussion in the room about immigrants and you may have gagged or kicked someone because what they said you viewed as racist but that was in the room.

I did not say who gagged the person Helen was talking to because I have no idea who did so

When I was 44 I answered an advert in the local paper for people to teach various subjects. It was at the College of FE and I started doing four and a half hours a week, which rapidly expanded to a full-time teaching job.

I signed up to do an on the job teaching qualification, and also an HND which I never actually started as I was teaching three of the modules.

We then had the opportunity to move to France so after two years my teaching career finished but they were two very enjoyable years.

Admittedly a primary school is a different proposition to a College of FE, but a good friend of ours re-trained to be a primary school teacher when she was 40 so it is worth looking into what options there are.

Now I am confused – I thought Aston was the only person from JC who went to his gentleman’s club while his housekeeper prepared his ready cooked meal in the microwave for his return

Surely Crusty Crawler and Aston can not be the one and the same or is there a lengthy queue to be next Aston evening meal warmer upper?
