Where we live in France was occupied during the Second World War and a lot of the older people are still far too traumatised to even talk about the horrific experiences they went through – for example Oradour-sur-Glane, and there were also concentration camps in this region

One hopes there is never anything these days to match the Battle of the Somme because with modern weaponry the reults could be far worse to mankind than nigh on a hundred years ago

Funniest thing this evening was being PM’ed by some sad person who called us swingers in the past who was worried we knew where he lived – as we would be so sad as to post his address – we have more integrity than to do so – but heck you really need to get a life
