the days of the world being painted red are long gone – sadly GB is now clinging to the shirt tails of Europe and quickly losing that grip

    Goodbye

make your mind up – either leave or stop pretending to do so

I know you don’t like me but we all have our own views on things – we may not agree but really you need to stop threatening to leave and just get on with it

and you can choose whether I am drunk or sober over this post

Did I say anything about leaving?

My word of the day, for my own reasons is “goodbye.”

OK fair enough but after seeing you say you are leaving during the last couple of weeks it gets a bit boring when you keep on playing the same card and then deleting the posts

It’s comforting to know you care so much.

Do I care that you act the way you do – I think not – but it is amusing watching the games you play – you’re saying that you’re leaving – then you’re not – you’re leaving then you’re not

    In a nutshell I am a Socialist

I used to be one of them and then I changed my mind. If being independent means that Gordon Brown is banished from England altogether then I’m all for it. Even Thatcher couldn’t have f***** up the way he did.

nah. i do not agree.. Gordon Brown is a fine fellow, but took over the reigns of a war Criminal and THatcher before Bliar. He never got the chance.

John Major was after Thatcher and before Blair

What would you ask him, tinks?

    oh my word…….where to start?

i guess just a barrage of questions about his early days of music to the present day…….i just think his life will have been so interesting……he is a very talented man

You could’ve described him as a talented musician but obviously that’d be stretching credulity wouldn’t it?

If I could stretch credulity and be as rich as he is would I care? Nahhhh

I know times are hard for many of us but…

I’ve just had a grandmother and her 2 grandchildren in the shop playing a game “what would we buy if we could afford it”. Apparently they’re going into all their favourite shops playing this and the grandmother explained that both her son and daughter in law are out of work at the moment and it’s all they can do to keep the roof over their heads and food on the table.

Seeing the faces of the 2 little girls as they left, I had to wonder…was this game fun or cruel?

And no, before anyone asks, they didn’t steal anything.

or was it supposed to play on your emotions and you were supposed to say……” here, have this”…..?

actually, that was My First thoughs too ! We have all felt skint times ( surely) the times I made my own Christmas Decorations when My son was small. anything else was a bonus !

ruby i’ve been there too making paper chains and snowflakes for hours on end with my children………..you know what?…..those lean times i have fond memories of………and life was a lot simpler then

We have been through periods where things were great and we could do many things that would be beyond the dreams of many. We have also been through times where we have wondered how we could feed the kids let alone ourselves.

When you come out the other side you learn to understand what life is really about
