ok, when i first ever used Just chat i went into F1 and paniced. it was like an orgy room! its pretty much still the same most evenings. I have stuck my beak into f3 once in a while but the only people that say hi are old f2 users… The thing i love and all regular users of F2 love is the fact that we do welcome new people unless they come in to cause trouble. I have often welcomed a newbee with the greeting, welcome to the nut house please leave your straight jacket at the door. :)
1 February, 2012 at 10:53 pm #488750In a way socializing on the internet is much easier than socialising in real life, If you want to you can pretend to be a completely different person than you really are (not that i do that, im just as annoying in the real world) But in thje real world we dont have the luxury of the iggy button, or the ability to turn real life off when we have had enough

31 January, 2012 at 4:40 pm #448770hmmmmmmmmmm, being a single parent i may be biased here …. when i had my first i didnt know i was going to end up bringing him up on my own, by the time i realised i had concieved the second i did. I love my kids no matter how much they stress me out and they know this. They dont always have the latest trend but they dont go with out either.
31 January, 2012 at 4:30 pm #488568I do not see this a a bad thing, as long as they take peoples personal circumstance into concideration. I have a friend that is on job seekers at the moment and has been applying for jobs. She moved to a different part of the country so she could live closer to her partner, there for having to give up the job she held. They do not live together and have no plans to. She is a single parent so the jobs she is applying for are within school hours.
For years i was a single parent on income support, During this time i was involved with so many community projects and spent most days while my children were in school doing something that benefited the community. Income support was cut for all single parents recently once the youngest child reached school age. This unfortunatly means that the number of single parents looking for work during school hours has multiplied and the number of vacancies have dropped.
Voluntary work/community work is wonderful, it boosts your self esteem and self worth and if like many long term unimployed you have nothing to put on your CV, then doing Community work will give you something to fill in the blanks :)

unfortunatly Children are allowed to run free is shops now, ( to be honest my kids were alway running ahead when they were little with me shouting at them to wait, and stopping messing about) But as someone who works in retail i often witness children left to do what they want whilst mummy is shopping. Often they are doing dangerous things, i have on occasion in a gentle bit firm tone, said to a child, be caerful you might get hurt. they normally stop what they are doing and wander off to find mum. I would never shout at a child that is not my own but i can understand why the old lady did, I will also hold my hands up and admit my kids are far from angels, as a parent i would haveasked the child what she/he was doing in order to be shouted at, i would never have verbally attacked the person shouting without finding out why
